Alot of people have problems with this and also with range finders gets funny after a while watching people try and figure out how to support the object. Always use a tree, pack, stock, weapon, weapon barrel, and etc.
The elbow support works even better if you've gotten out of the military and grown a big fucking gut. Trust me. Not great for forced marches, but a hell of a stable firing platform.
