At the beginning of FFT, Ramza is concerned only with upholding the name of the Beoulve family, but as the story progresses, he learns that a name means nothing if injustice must be used to uphold it. Although Ramza's heroic actions will never be known to the public in Ivalice, his character is to show the true reasons behind virtue. He is known as a heretic. Ppl who do "good" by manipulation of others aren't really doing any "good" at all, and FFT tries to express this through its characters.

I love Final Fantasy Series. I have VIII (PS1), X, X-2, XII (PS2), XIII (PS3) and Dissidia for PSP. I just don't like this one ... Is there a problem?

Because in retrospective, it's really not. Sorry for the delayed response.

It was a turn-based game released way back when as a "side" final-fantasy game, similar to how warioware has relation to the mario series.

And ended up being more popular then most of the FF games ever released apart from 7, maybe 8.

It's a good game, not saying it's wrong not to like it, but don't openly smash on it, because it's not to your liking.

This video reminds me of the disappointment of how horrible this port this game was. I spent 30 bucks when it came out only to find out it has horrible slowdown, the music is broken, it's made easier than the original was and it's more expensive than the original that you can download now for PSP off PSN. I couldn't sell it fast enough. PSOne version is the best.

Unrelated, but I love the narrator's voice. American narrators always promote their games in their overly dramatic deep voice, which gets boring and corny -_-

Square Enix needs to make another Final Fantasy Tactics for PS3 or XBOX 360. I love the games out there like Disgaea, but the story just doesn't compare. And I would to see what they could do with the hardware now. I miss Squaresoft in itself though:P Maybe I'm just nostalgic.

Why?! You get more items in WotL, along with more characters, Rendez-Vous, Melee, and the things have better names.

Because the framerate drops in any kind of attack, sure there's extra content but it's at the cost of smoother battles which is what the game is all about.

All the heroes are cool and all that but most of the fun is in using the generics with Ramza. Otherwise you just plow through the game easily.

Okay I get it... The whole point of WotL is to gain ridiculous power so you can take on anyone with Ad Hoc. Also, some of the Rendez-Vous missions need you to exploit some stuff. One such mission called The Guarded Temple pits you against 10 Automatons, 2 of which are Protoconstructs with several thousand HP, and you have to beat them all within 7 turns between the Protoconstructs.

Ramza is definitely my favorite Final Fantasy character ever. He is probably the one who relates most with the player themselves, he's given a male's PA and female's MA, meaning we can make him whatever we desire him to be.

And did I mention badass? He matures greatly throughout the story, goes to rescue his sister, and kills the Jesus figure of Ivalice while he's at it. How can you not like him?

This is quite a long game, I have to say. I'm not sure compared to the mainstream FF's, though(it's been a while since I've played this). The plot is amazing, I have to say. One of my favorite Final Fantasies. The gameplay is fun, but the battles can be long and sometimes overwhelming. You should play it!
