my god there are some prats out there the oes is too good a dog to give a shit if its got a tail or not just love them while you have them WITH OR WITHOUT a tail both mine were docked when i got them not my choice but hey shut up and enjoy them
Thank you for posting; Henry's a beautiful puppy! I'm glad you didn't dock his tail - no need to have these beautiful creatures suffer just to make a fashion statement.
Sorry, how old is this puppy? No docked tail???? I have been around my favorite breed for many, many years. since you're posting a video, i'm free to comment. No docked tail is just atrocius. Anyone who has been seriously in the breed, showing, breeding etc. would frown on this. This is what the kooky europeans do w/ thier oes. Even if you are just casually into the breed i think you are showing that you don't have a true appreciation of the uniqueness and tradition of it. Sad.
@seekermichael007 Honestly put, but they're born NATURALLY with their tails. My OES particularly like their tails and tradition or not, have avoided issues and are cleaner in contrast to having it docked.
We're not "kooky", nor are Australians Europeans.
It's been banned since June 2004 in all regions aside from Western Australia, clearly your being in the United States would not be aware of that. They are allowed to have a tail when being shown here.
@seekermichael007 Additionally, I've grown up with the breed and am fully aware of the traditions and the like that have followed them.
So please, take your "sad" comment with it's prejudice towards the legal form towards docking elsewhere thanks.
Oh, and by the way - the standard for it is now written as and I quote from one of our OES Club's pages - "preferably docked" and no longer "must be docked". Having a tail is NOT frowned upon here.
Beautiful. Thank you for posting. Lovely to think that just being with his people and having a play in the park makes a perfect day. If only people could think that way. I hope Henry is till doing well. Best wishes. I am off to take my own dear dog for her walk.
my oes is named Henry as well, great choice :)
