Not really. A lot of children mishear and mis-say lyrics to a lot of songs, not just the anthem. I know I used to sing the wrong lyrics to songs because I either could not pronounce them yet or I misheard them when I was small (Heck, I thought the line "Lay me down on sheets of linen" in Elton John's Tiny Dance was "Baby darling she's so splendid" when I was 8).

Give them a break.

it's not the words; it's a heart ( in a person singing). keep in mind that these are kids just learning the national anthem. give them a chance to master this great anthem!
