This guy says that people tend to forget that Mexico's the 11th economy in the world, which is true. And it's really good that the economy seems to be improving. But people also tend to forget that money has never been the real problem in Mexico, but how that money is being distributed. There's a huge amount of money in the hands of only a few people, and a lot of people are living in extreme poverty. That's what the government really needs to work on.
This growth everyone seems to be so proud of is in extreme danger in these coming elections. If the PRI party regains power it will be a swift defeat in this fight against the Cartels because the PRI is the political party of the Cartels. If you can vote in these coming elections DO NOT vote for Enrique Peña Nieto!
I believe in Mexico & I am hopeful that they will somehow overcome the problems of the Cartels. I promote Mexico through several websites and screen cast videos that I make.
My Social Networking Website has a membership nearly 1500 American & Canadian retirees living in Mexico. All of us promote Mexico.
@epgeorge007 The proposal by some people to legalize all narcotics is a step in the right direction. The cartel problem has been brought to Mexico because of they US is failed War on drugs. I do agree all drugs should be legal, no im not pro drug but pro-choice, i don't believe anyone should go to jail for what they choose to consume or place in their body.
@epgeorge007 Thank you. As a Mexican, Mexico really is a little bit of a superpower, and has been for a while. Our per capita has always been really low but our large population has made it a large economy, and is now the 11th largest. I hope Mexico will continue to grow, and have good financial and technological sectors. I think It will. I would like to see a nice and prosperous Mexico that I can retire in, even if I still have to wait 40 more years.
Mexico is good for business. But unfortunately is run down by criminals. And this criminals are hypocrites that go to their wives and kids and go to church. But in secret they roll with the drug dealers.
@freest2dogg True the same can be said about the USA as well. I guess a big problem with politics is when big business get involved, government shouldn't be a business.

@xxxEmmureOwnxxx It is all of Mexico. The country's GDP may be stable, but the economic structure is a mess. Not to mention the rampant corruption.
