U dont need to put any mode, I have it in a beautiful Orange color, you just go in and make sure the CARD COVES ARE CLOSED.

Its a really good camera.

Its not only the underwatermode....... y does a great variety of things N Modes

how do you get the underwater mode? do you just take pictures or do you have to change some mode or something

The video is so much better in the olympus program that comes with the camera, or any other software I have - it's crystal clear - it doesn't look too good after putting up on you tube -
