Looking back to the 2006 Main Event, if only Eric Molina didn't push all-in with nothing and get busted then Jamie Gold might not have won it. I'm not saying Molina deserves to be in the final table, but IMO his loose game and inappropiate attitude was exactly what was needed to KNOCK OUT that Rich Spoiled dickkhead "Jamie Gold" If Molina was in the final table, then Gold would have eventually gotten intolerate of Molina getting under his skin all day and gotten busted in a crazy all-in.

@outrightrocker There is no wrong way to play trips when your opponent also has trips. He might have got all of Alan's chips if he bet differently. He also wasn't even sure he had the best hand, because he just called on the river. If he was setting Alan up he would have bet out on the river or check raised. I don't think Jamie sucks, but there reallly isn't a bad way to play that hand... just bad luck for alan.

He excels in the art which has been lost in online poker, which is the psychological meta-game battle; including reading physical tells, deception of his own tells, verbal antagonism and deception... All things which help some one gain an edge over an opponent, and force them to make mistakes. And of course catching cards doesn't hurt either :)

Another thing I like about Gold is that he bets right out with his monsters. The typical "fish" play is to slowplay monster hands, and bet with medium-strength hands or bluffs. When Jamie bets, you always have to consider the possibility that he has the nuts. When weak, mediocre, or even some successful players bet or raise the flop, you can be sure that they don't have a strong hand.
