@xCraftyTVx: Game Maker has its own language, which is somewhat a modified version of C. It's called GML, and there are many tutorials on using it.

@JallisTheone: It sounds like you put the Instance Destroy in the ball object instead of the object that actually breaks. There's a forum called the Game Maker Community (GMC) that you can ask any question and it will be answered.

Insert them as a background instead of a sprite. Before clicking 'ok', make sure the field "Use as tileset" is marked. Then you can use them as tiles in the room editor.

Believe me, you're doing the right - tiles are amazing to work with! :D

Please reply to this message. Please make a tutorial on a Marble Busting game! Marble Busting games are where you have to shoot things at balls. And you can make a combo by popping 3 or more balls. And the ball that was shooted has to match the other balls to make a combo. Also, some lives and scores and powerups like reversing, stopping, bombs, etc. If you don't know what a Marble Busting game is, search Luxor or Tumblebugs on google and download it.

@jonapenguin You have to download the latest drivers for your video card because they are out of date. Go to start, run, write dxdiag and press enter. Then when a program pops up, at the top click Display and there you should see the name of your video card. Copy the name and search on google: (video card) drivers download. If you dont see the name of your video card then you will have to find out on google or somewhere else. Hope i helped

@TheFuckingGoat Sure you can. You just have to draw (or get) some nice looking pixel graphics. Google 'spritlib' to find a bunch of free-to-use files.

@jonapenguin Hi! Try going to Windows Update through your Start menu and download all updates. After that is done go to the homepage of your graphics card developer and download the latest drivers. Finally google and download and the latest version of DirectX. If it still fails you might need to upgrade your pc.

@Vleery777 For a new level you need an action from Control called Test instance count. Use this to test wether there are any bricks left to hit. If none are left go to next room.
