Just to confirm, will this camera have a manual focusing in movie mode? Heard that EXR mode will appear in any mode chosen if resolution is 8MP (half). Is this true? Looking forward to your answer guys! ^_^

@nyariawektudung Yes, both the HS25/HS30 will offer MF during Video recording. Also, AF during video is also improved. As for the EXR benefits, by selecting half the resolution in other modes, you can take advantage of the EXR feature.

@87solarsky I don't have that information however the HS25 retail for $399 CAD while the HS30EXR retails for $499 CAD.

@fujiguys Which output in mAh is necessary to recharge the lithium battery in the charger? I use an lithium battery with usb interface with a 1000 mAh output. So it would be very handy if I could recharge the HS30-battery on the way. ;)

@Cracknigga99 The batteries can't be charged via the USB port. An external charger is included to charge the included Li-ion batteries.

@fujiguys Yes I know that... the normal USB port has not enough outpout for charging, but there are also USB-batteries with an output of more than 2000 mAh. So my question is how much ouput offers the external charger of the camera?

How is the quality of the camera at 30x compared with the HS20? Is it as i call it shaky? Or did Fujifilm improved it? and in video sense, does de HS30 works good? I saw a raw video on the HS20 and i found it just right on how i want it to look. And how do you compare this camera with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G3? which one is better ? Please reply! Thank you :D

@joshiminator23 Low light images has been improved by 30%. Video AF is improved as well as the ability to manual focus during video. For video, the DMC-G3 would have the edge of this camera as it offers more controls during video.

So how does the HS30 compare to the X-S1 .. esp with the latter probably suffering the same ORB issue as the X10, where the long awaited firmware 'fix' didn't do much..?

Also the X-S1 lens has been shown on the dpreview fuji forum to have terrible 'wobble' & is actually loose when extended,.. The S100FS feels rock solid when fully extended.

I have the S100FS, and NO fuji cam since it: (S200EXR, HS10, HS20 etc) Has attained same level of resolving power & fine detail. Bring back the Super CCD!!

@Mobughichi X-S1 due to sensor size being larger. Also, MF is smoother as well as zoom due to metal barrel on X-S1. Also, X-S1 offer external mic jack.

I do wish the fuji guys wouldn't talk to people like we are 6 years old - 'this is the lens cap and this is how it attaches and the battery goes in here ' - And what we REALLY need to know is how good are the pictures?? Its the only reason to buy a camera!!!
