We need to realize that FFX and FF7 were the two best games of all time and we should be DAM proud we played them in there golden days and got to experience the sensation that Final Fantasy once was. The remake is coming. It's awesome but sad at the same time. I can't wait to put in over 500 hours or more on the game but I know that will be the last of Final Fantasy. If you're wondering why Final Fantasy has gone downhill, it's because the two souls who made it what it is aren't working on them as much if at all anymore. They have moved on to their own studio, Mistwalker. Lost Odyssey is the true FF13. Unless Square Enix goes back to the basics, I'll never be buying another FF. It's sad.. like this song.
Please let the next FF be like VII and X. I want a return to the standard turn based battle system, incredible story line, simple yet brilliant and unique music, not this crazy massive orchestra stuff its too much, and we're due another epic FF anyway. The last 4 just dont meet the standards!

Every time I listen to one of these songs, I regret that I sold my ps2 for a stupid wii. It's just that great of a story with a beautiful delivery that you just can't help but feel with and for the characters. I remember I had this song and others from the soundtrack on CD years ago when I was in high school. When my parents thought I was in bed, I had a candle lit and the headphones on with this song on repeat, pining over a girl I liked. I couldn't speak to her, and I never could. This song brings me back to those times when life was more simple and clear.
I remembered I just stopped playing my game when I first went to the Farplane... the Wandering Flame music was so... mystical... I just stopped Tidus in the middle of the FP and listened to it for an hour. The best Final Fantasy game ever. It gives the whole game it's setting. Lost in suffering, going to fight an evil that you might not come back from fighting, Faith, survival, yet despite all that, it also has the sense of 'Keep going and fight, hope and Salvation WILL come.'
I think everyone in their lifetime should play this game. Its not just a video game, its an inspiration. Imagine the world leaders we would have if they were influenced by this game. People could be inspired to do the unimaginable. Square Enix and Nobuo Uematsu, i thank you for the unforgettable game and music that has without doubt made me a better person.

I Agree that it has also help me understand humanity in a way a bit more through the powerful events at that failed sin battle. Another thing about this game that is so great is how it establishes cultures so well. It truly felt like i was in another land.

Tears are falling everywhere all of a sudden.. little girls posting videos on youtube of indecency.....Rappist and pedaphiles hunt for young when they can get their own age. This life time is becoming pitiful. You can tell something is coming for us because its just too much wrong were there should be right. @kwhyland its either a clarinet or a soprano sax.it could be either for this type of music.and its almost impossible to tell apart the sound of a soprano clarinet and a soprano saxophone unless you are actually looking at the particular instrument

FFX was the best game for me ever made , it was fun when i was a little kid playing troughout the game watching the cutscenes and following the story , it makes me feel like crying when thinking about it :/

Every time I listen to one of these songs, I regret that I sold my ps2 for a stupid wii. I have to get this game again, maybe even the international version if I can play it in the U.S. The composer is so incredibly talented. This music almost sounds ethereal, just out of this world. It's like something you wouldn't even hear on planet Earth.

i often think what would life be like in ff game, since i was young, one thing i cant get out of my head is that i wish of a world like this... adventure, valor, courage. and love.. if i could be warped into a scenario such as this.. i would have my one, lifetime of bliss.. will always dream of an ff world, as long as i live.. dreams will only be the vessel to a life such as this. ff fans all over, love, adventure, happiness.

This game isn't just a game, it's a lifetime experience. If I could get to Spira somehow, I definitely would. I play FFX every now and then, even after 10 years of its release, it's still a masterpiece..

@M1Minami1 Amen to that. It's one of those stories that actually affects the player's life after it's all over. It's just that great of a story with a beautiful delivery that you just can't help but feel with and for the characters. Every time I finish the game, a little part of me dies inside because I never want that story to be over. Even with FFX-2, it still just doesn't satisfy.

I remember I had this song and others from the soundtrack on CD years ago when I was in high school. When my parents thought I was in bed, I had a candle lit and the headphones on with this song on repeat, pining over a girl I liked. I couldn't speak to her, and I never could. This song brings me back to those times when life was more simple and clear.

I remembered I just stopped playing my game when I first went to the Farplane... the Wandering Flame music was so... mystical... I just stopped Tidus in the middle of the FP and listened to it for an hour. The best Final Fantasy game ever. It gives the whole game it's setting. Lost in suffering, going to fight an evil that you might not come back from fighting, Faith, survival, yet despite all that, it also has the sense of 'Keep going and fight, hope and Salvation WILL come.'

I think everyone in their lifetime should play this game. Its not just a video game, its an inspiration. Imagine the world leaders we would have if they were influenced by this game. People could be inspired to do the unimaginable. Square Enix and Nobuo Uematsu, i thank you for the unforgettable game and music that has without doubt made me a better person.

no game builds an attachment to characters like this game did. these fantastic dreamy worlds are like gazing into the highest levels of the astral plane.

@Willdog31 That is a little bit of an overstatement but none the less, this is a great piece of media and art. I Agree that it has also help me understand humanity in a way a bit more through the powerful events at that failed sin battle. Another thing about this game that is so great is how it establishes cultures so well. It truly felt like i was in another land.

We should all some how find a way (e-mail maybe) to get Play Station to get FFX on ps3 for downloading. If I could play this game again, I'd be the happiest gamer on the planet. This is more than just a game, it's a story that takes you in with it!

@mrlemonbreath you can emulate it using ps2 emulator on your computer. that is if you have a powerful enough processor. it actually looks realy good on high resolution with anti aliasing. they actually made the textures for this game very good... couldn't even see alot of the detail on ps2.

i remembered my current boyfriend sent this to me when i was feeling a lil down and stressed a few months ago. he told me to close my eyes and lay down in a dimly lit room in the dark while relaxing to this....it really worked, i hadn't ever felt calmer.
:) i love this song so much, all i can imagine is walking through a mist-flooded field with a lilac / blue sunrise above me, the stars and moon still out...faintly...the smell of a crisp, rising spring...this song really puts me at ease.

I played FFX over and over..I have to say this is the best gamer ever. I mean the characters the the story the music..everything is just so smooth and perfect!
