  • Why am I watching a litterbox advert?

  • I got an idea for a litter box, is called the neighbor's yard.*

  • WTF, Are you INSANE, $180.00 for a litterbox. many years ago I paid $95 for the littermaid on sale and I will pissed about paying that much. That is absurd.

Also, IT IS TO SMALL!!! It should be rectangle, not square. I have the clevercat top entry litterbox and my cat loves it, but I give it a year or 2 before he out grows it. Who the hell wants to pay $180 for a litter box that a small cat will out grow.

  • It is beautifully designed, but it is designed for the owner, in no way for the cat.

Many cats actually dislike being confined, when using the litterbox. And the top access isn't optimal, neither the size or placement.

My cat would possibly be able to enter it, but the surface area is much too small. If the space is inadequate, they can´t empty their blatter properly. And is there enough room for big/or old cats to leave the box without having to maneuver around the used litter?

  • LOVE this!!

  • huh, judging from the grated top, I figured it was designed to have the clean litter filter through, and the clumps left behind in the bag for easy removal...guess not.

  • your litter box is super cute, but your price point is way too high for a poo container with no electrical functions... This should really be priced at the $50-60 mark.

  • great design and all but why is it so damn expensive? I mean $180 for a plastic litter box - really??? I bought one with an electronic filter for less money. Also how do you clean the liner?

  • It looks too small for my cats they are Savannah cats

  • Man ... for $180, I'd sooner buy a Rubbermaid storage container, cut a hole in the lid, use a trash bag for a liner, and basically wind up with the same thing, and then I could use the remaining $160 or so to pay for litter and cat food for a year. Sheesh.

  • It is designed for the convenience of humans. I am sure that cats doesn't find it practical. Especially not my two cats aged 14 and 15 years.

  • Too tall and not wide enough. "tarp" liner will get ripped ( i ahve had this material around my cats and they shredded it. Heavy duty blue tarp. IT is also porous so it will smell. Need to make this box wider/longer (not big enough for multi cats or large cats). need to make a lift out liner that is hard with a handle. Then I might think about it.

  • @blondana -- This is a horrific design. Might be great for little kittens but it will be useless to older cats. It is too tall and too narrow. Useless design really.

  • I don't like scooping. Omega paw is better.

  • I am ALL for new types of litter boxes, but what I need is a fully enclosed litter box that an elderly female cat can get into... girl cats tend to pee backwards instead of down, and elderly cats may not be able to climb up and into this unit. I know, I know, next time, get a male cat with good knees ;) Anyway, your litter box looks very nice for the right healthy kitty....

  • Beautiful, but $180.00? Cut it in 1/2 and we'll talk.

  • @kestaggtx They're on sale at The Foundary for $115 after shipping (no tax) today and through 8/3/11. You have to join the site to see what's on sale but I don't believe they sold any of my info because my spam didn't increase after I joined. I finally broke down and ordered the modkat in red. Just do a search for The Foundary.
