Solid, soulful and musical players, with spirit, skill, and great attitudes. Nate just got a lifetime achievement award. He and Rick can absorb and inspire a wide variety of collaborators. Not that Marsh and Buenz need any help. These guys never phone it in. Nate was vocalist in the Five Satins as a kid; Rick's a grad of Berklee/Boston, studied with Matheny, played with classmate Bill Frisell, and is so modest that it'll take you forever to get this biographical stuff out of him. Go, guys!
