  • nice to meet you ..

  • eterno nico....

  • PARA OS OTÁRIOS QUE FICAM FAZENDO COMPARAÇÕES, ENTRE NICO E PATITUCCI, FIQUEM SABENDO QUE OS DOIS ERAM AMIGÕES. COM CERTEZA O PAPO DELES ERAM PARA MELHORAR A MÚSICA EM SI, E NÃO DISCUTINDO PESSOAS.

  • HUHUUUU .....

  • NICO ASSUMPÇÃO WAS BORN IN AUGUST 1954

JOHN PATITUCCI WAS BORN IN DECEMBER 1959

The influence is from Assumpção. Mistura fina show us this fact.

  • O cara era um monstro! E nada de ficar comparando Nico com Patitucci. Cada um na sua. É deselegante ficar comparando as pessoas.

  • The Influence is from Nico over Patitucci, Nico was older and He get his sound before John.

Listen Patitucci's Mistura Fina Is pure Nico Assumpçao.

  • I think that the influence is from Nico over Patitucci, listen Patitucci´s Mistura Fina, is pure Nico Asumpçao, the same occur with the influence of Toninho Horta over Pat Metheny, Nico was older than John and he has his sound before.

  • @elBassmanU absoFUCKIutely!! joan, listen to the notes - besides the technic, listen to that notes he plays! the phrases, the progressions...

  • the nico assumpcao is the son of john patitucci, the influence of patitucci over assumpcao is evident...nico developing your sound listening to john...and transform these concept for you...

  • @joanjcd joan, sorry but patitucci have a lot to learn with nico's improvisations, the melody and the rythm of his solos are too rich, and the fact that nico played with big brazilian musicians like elis regina, milton nascimento, joão bosco, raphael rabello, wagner tiso makes his improvs the greatest cause there is no better music than the brazilian.

  • @Tinhomelito You had a valid point until you said "no better musician than the brazilian". Your Brazilian heritage

is exposed. I enjoy modern jazz, but I prefer the bass to groove like African/New Orleans/Funk. This music lacks the soul, it's more mathematical exercises. Just my opinion, you can all jump on me now.....hahaha!

  • super
