There are two types of 911's; there is the Carrera, which is a more everyday car, and then there is the GT2/3 which are more track day cars

the C in C2 n C4 stands for carrera. carrera GT is not a 911. GT3 n GT2 r 911. it goes C2,C2s,C4,C4s, Turbo (sometimes then turbo S like with 993), GT2 GT3 GT3RS GT3RSR GT3 cup n all this other stuff. those are 911s. those are the types u get in the different models of the newer 911 series e.g. 997,996 n 993 aswell. 964,959,928 n possibly some others cant think rite now are also 911s.

@oxman7 a 928 is not a 911, just like a 944 is not a 911, you are correct with the rest.... the 928 was made to replace the 911 model, but it failed...

CARRERA 4S is way heavier than other 996's. It has AWD and extra trunk space. Its not as fast as the 996 C2, nor is it better at handling. AWD makes it slower on a dry track. The AWD version is for beginners to porsche. The C2 is better looking and faster and is RWD.

Sorry but the carrera 4 and C4S are too slow, even with the 320bhp it still only gets around 290 to the wheels and the C2 gets 296 to the wheels. If you put a PSE on a C2, you get 320bhp anyway.

The straight doesn't matter so much, cause in an C4S you can take corners way faster as an C2. Because of the all wheel drive system. The C2 got more oversteer as an C4S, so I am sure if u race an C4S in an C2 you will lose the race!

It's my dad's car.

It's from the year 2002. The engine is a bit cold. But the car is still rolling. I drove it a few times. It's so sick in the corners!

At the back it has 315mm tires. It lookes dangerous:$

I don't know the real age of THIS car, but if it's a 996 4S, it was bought between 2002 and 2004. What a wonderful car ! The most beautiful one of all the 996s !

There's a little bit of steam coming out from the exhaust:cold engine,a bit of humidity in the exhaust pipes,and there you go,steam from pipes.

how come in every one of these videos someone has to say 'don't rev the engine when it's cold' how do you know it's cold? Maybe he's just starting it again after having driven it.
