MEPS REMINDER

When I was still going through AFROTC in 1997, they had me go through the MEPS in Jacksonville, Fla. The person who took blood from me...Navy Corpsman...was totally awesome. I didn't feel squat and he didn't leave hardly a mark on my arm.

once i got a tetanus shot after cutting my right finger with sharp metal . The nurse injected the shot of tetanus toxoid in my right arm but hit the bone then my right arm swelled up ,and my left arm went numb for 3 days

yeah, I was probably there for about 10 hours or so as well, haha. I literally had to wait in a lobby for 7 hours while waiting to get my paperwork done.

Jesus Christ!!! If all goes as planned, I will be heading off to MEPS within the next few months. Man, Im not going to lie, I'm scared to death of needles. You can bet I'll be talking to that Doctor making sure he's paying attention!

ha... damn... i barely have a mark where i got my blood taken, i went to MEPS today and got told that im 75 to 80 percent deaf in my left ear... i can hear everything out of it... so now i gotta get a waiver request... damn delaying my shipping even more...

LOL I had the same thing happen at MEPS in Phoenix the doctor got distracted by his cell phone and while i was seating down and him holding onto the needle he stood up while it was in my arm. it'll heal.
