@BigChomp3rs Aww c'mon dude...I love the Raptor. I'm just saying that, if Ford and GM can make turn-key road-racers that win their classes in GT3 and GT2, respectively, then why won't they make, say, Trophy Trucks or Class 1 stuff? Yes, I am also aware that Ford made a SCORE-spec version of the Raptor (called the Raptor R or something like that?) I was just saying that I would like to see Ford and/or GM get into factory-backed off-roading more.
@69BlueL88 Yeah I know the Raptor is awesome. And I agree... they should. I hope you know I was just messin with yuh dude. LONG LIVE BAJA! WOOT! Btw, I sent you a friend request.
@Rsimon859 ok ok you win haha its just in my mind the new hummers arent really meant for offroad there just luxurious suv's that people put big ass chrome rims on and shit like they would do to a escalade etc
This truck is used for Dakar, not for SCORE even in his baja Races.
he pre-ran in mexico because it was similar to the terrain in Argentina. This truck is only made for that race, e.i, real glass windshield, doors, larger fuel tanks, and more storage on the truck.
Pre-running in a verb is an action where racers "pre-run" the course to take notes. Much like rally car racing. Just not as detailed since, well, some of the races are over 1000 miles.
Then there are "pre-runners", noun. Essentially its a watered down version of a trouphy truck. Typically with aircondition, maybe a radio, suspension seats... ect. Weighs a bit more then the race truck, but, would you want to travel 1000 miles without those creature comforts? I sure as hell wouldn't. lol.
normal trophy trucks cost around 250k to 500k , but i read about the hummer in the video, and i believe they spent one million on it... The horsepower on it hasn't been released yet, but i heard its insane!!
wow...thats awesome! i think that's the only H3 i would ever consider owning!

why cant' companies like ford or chevy make off-road trucks like this in factories instead of that too-heavy, underpowered, slow stuff?
69BlueL88 11 months ago
@69BlueL88 because no one would buy a 500,000$ truck.
dragoncustomcycles 11 months ago
@69BlueL88 They did, it's called the Raptor F-150. Yuh need to know your trucks to pass as a man...

@Rsimon859 H3's sucks unless u do something like this to it
southBAYstruts 1 year ago
@southBAYstruts nah, they don't suck, I have alot of fun in mine. This H3 looks like its just an offroad body with an h3 kit.
Rsimon859 1 year ago
@Rsimon859 but an h3 hummer isnt really meant for off road if u get a hummer why not get the original hummer that they used in the military....
southBAYstruts 1 year ago
@southBAYstruts
The H3 was designed to go off-road. It's HUMMER's mid-sized SUV. Active 4WD is constant, no two wheeling at all.
And the original H1 costs almost $110,000...
that I don't have.
Rsimon859 1 year ago
@Rsimon859 true that haha i guess what im trying to say is that if u wanna go offroading why not get a jeep or a truck... not a luxury suv
southBAYstruts 1 year ago
@southBAYstruts
Because I paid 21,000 bucks for my H3 as opposed to 43,000+ for an SRT8 cherokee.

I'm sorry for my ignorance but what is pre running?
Is it track reconnaissance/training?
werkloosdoorcrisis 2 years ago
its when off road racer pre-run the course before the actual race. They takes notes so they will know excactly where the best lines are
monserenergy700r 2 years ago
Ok, thanks.
werkloosdoorcrisis 2 years ago
Basically. Prerunner trucks are not built to the same standards as full on race vehicles, but still have to be able to handle the course.

I have heard before that a complete trophy truck runs about 250k. I could be wrong, im sure the price differse if you do the work yourself.

But they are built for different purposes. I bet these things can't keep up with a rally car at a rally track.
