  • im confused does i use vinyl? or is it for computers

  • I have one and I highly recommend it. Saving up for another one when I have an extra 500 to blow

  • Kontrol s2 or v7 hmmm...

  • ok so i got a Numark V7 & i use it with an Imac but sometimes it starts to trip and act weird, do ya'll know whats wrong

  • How do you record with the Numark v7?

  • @mck4real Yuh Cant

  • where did you get the "scratching / what is it" scratch sound from?

  • could i plug my the v7 into the s4 and still use the v7 effects?

  • @michaellusk949 would you use traktor or ITCH? if using traktor you would Midi Map the FX section on V7 to Traktor basically control Traktors FX since V7 fx are just maped to Serato Itches software not built in FX unit like on mixers. its pointless though imo traktor FX are nicer have way more possibilities than ITCh

  • If i dont have an intel processer, can I still use this and it will run not so well on my computer.

  • If i was going to get 2 V7's would i need to get a 4ch mixer?

  • @PantsONtheGROUND121 no you cant even do 4 channels only two

  • @TitoMysta3000 you sir are wrong. He can it controls two decks in each V7 so that is 4 decks. But he can also only hook up one deck in each v7

  • @DjJumpFreak in order to do 4 decks you would need 2 laptops you CAN'T do 4 decks with 2 V7s on the same computer.

  • @TitoMysta3000 You can actually do 4 decks in VDJ so you are wrong.

  • @DjJumpFreak WOW really.... vdj VDJ! lol im pretty sure majority of people wouldn't have thought of VDJ since i don't know.... it comes with Serato ITCH. So i am correct and you are kinda also to a point. i couldnt find anything on how to do 4 decks without midi mapping it but the audio would only come out through one deck only really letting you play on a 2 chan mixer

  • so it does work wit a rane ttm57 mixer wit serato?

  • @DJKidMon3y it works with any mixer.

  • does work with virtual dj??? thaxx

  • Great review guys. Just wondering what that last song is. That track is hot, I wanna use it for breaking. Peace and keep up the good work.

  • what kind of mixer is there where i can have random samples with the touch of a button even if im iin the middle of a mix i can just push a button on my mixing board an there it is...any ideas? thanks kevinroccia@yahoo.com

  • Вы бы ещё в туалете засняли)))

You in a toilet would photograph)))

  • love the 1200's but this will be the next thing to it? I think this is next-levelness, sooo many things you can do that you couldn't do with the 1200 (I love my 1200's too btw)

  • great review

  • mixer?

  • @MrPointnshoot Rane ttm57

  • you guys from CT? that kitchen looks firmiliar

  • theres a lag for me on this vid so the scratch session looks fucked up

  • can u record with Itch and the N& like SL3 and scratch live

  • hey guys can you record your mix with the Itch software like you can with SL3 and scratch live

  • that is amazingly cool!!! i was thinking about gettin the ns7 but actually u need only one, able to be used as 2 decks no? great i look forward to buying it with tears in my eyes! ;)

  • how much the console?

  • I love my V7. It's the closest thing to vinyl simulation out there. Check out my page. I just uploaded a video of me doing a couple blends on my V7 out the box. Just trying it out

  • Nice demoo! :)

  • Nice review

  • Does anyone know if I can use just one NUMARK V7, a mixer, and laptop and do gigs like that, or would it not work that way?

  • wow 5 cue points

  • Ending Comments said a mouth full... Next best thing to Technic's 1200's. I can't wait to get Mines. Peace.

  • how many effects does it come with???

  • Hey guys, great video. I love the way you were bumping the Bongo Rock in the background. I was looking for my linolium at 42 yrs old...LOL. Anyways I've been spinning for 20 years and bought M-Audio Torq a few years ago for my Numark TTX's. Nevermind the Numark haters, yeah they made some cheap products in the past but who didn't but the TTX are beasts. I've been wanting to upgrade for a while. I went all the way around the world to say you guys video and you sold me on the Numark V7. Thankyou.

  • Great vid guys, thanks! Also, what is the beat loop you're playing on the V7?

  • Does the ttm 57 work with the v7?

  • Is that a Rane TTM 57 SL with the V7? I'm wondering if my ttm 57 will work with it or not. I've seen the 56 with it already? Please comment if anyone knows!

  • Good Looking out with the review .. I am picking one up this weekend from down here in S.A. Town!

  • Show us a demo of mixing. Would like to see how the pitch holds up when switching from deck A to deck B continuously. Nice work though guys!! Keep it up

  • Show us a demo of mixing. Would like to see how the pitch holds up when switching from deck A to deck B continuously. Nice work though guys!! Keep it up

  • NICE FELLAS.. Do you know if anyone has programed the ttm57 midi to control the vj.. I HEARD IT WAS OUT JUST HAVEN'T SEEN IT YET.. So before i go buy one i need to know i can use it with the rane sl mixer...

  • @DJLORDJAZZ I Have not heard of that but will be on the hunt. although the controls on the v7 itself are dope and pretty easy to use.

  • So i have a question..is it possible to record your mixes? I just purchased a V7 and use the one turntable for my gigs..It was this demo that convinced me to buy the V7 over the NS7 ..not liking the whole 1 piece mixer deal...Big ups to Sound techs!

  • @djmerci2007 Super Shot Out To DJMERCI!!!! Glad to help. With the v7 you can run a basic recording setup out of your mixer using Serato. I did that with ableton live just trying it out and im surprised to say but I had no feedback issues. I used a rca to 1/8 inch jack out of my mixer into my mic input on my laptop. It isn't something I would put a mix out with but it worked for a simple recording setup.

  • Whats better v7 or the ns7?

  • @qsent Well if you are a beginner and own no mixer than ns7 but if you have a mixer preference like most djs the v7. Both are nice!

  • When i connecting numark v7 to computer , Can I record my mixes in serato ?

  • @truskaweczka22 Once The Bridge (Serato & Ableton) is released u will be able to

  • in the kitchen

  • @TURBODATS2K We couldn't wait

  • @thesoundtechs hahaha obviously!

  • It Would of been sick if they added for cds but its still good

  • does the serato hardware inside the ttm57sl enable midi inside the scratch live software? I know the SL3 hardware will. As far as I know, the SL3 is the only hardware that enables MIDI control inside SSL. Is this true? Help!

  • What's up man? So the V7 can be used with VV & VDJ 6.0.7? Is the pitch kind of unstable when the platter is released? That is what happens with the NS7 and the latest software release. I have played around with video on the NS7. It would be solid after they nail down the pitch craziness. But I do plan on getting the V7's. I just wanted to make sure they were good to go. Thanks for yur reply!

  • great video for sure , i own the NS7 i love it too....keep it up !!!!

  • Thanks 4 the comments "Djsteelo1"..... Hope to hear from you soon. The Sound Techs

    Make A Statement!!!

  • Question: Can you use THe VCI 300 as the mixer if YOu combine it with 2 V7's????

  • Yup you sure can. Check out user "yeahdefdj" (Numark v7+ Vestax Vci 300 First Tests) It shows a very good demo. Thanks The Sound Techs...

  • question.. can you mix 2 songs with one n7 and an anolog mixer? (think amputate mode)

  • Yes, you can the V7 is the Digital end of it and connects via usb. Standard RCA type connections are used to output for your mixer..

    Thanks.

    The Sound Techs

  • A 56 and a Mac is a great start. I would recommend two V7's considering a 57 is pretty much a 56 with Scratch Live built in. The V7 is a dedicated controller for Itch, but in my opinion Itch is just as strong as Scratch. Now I use and love my 57 but hooking up the V7 to your 56 would do the same amount of damage.

  • Most people will say real turntables are the way to go, but those are the same people that would say real dj's strictly use wax no digital...I collect Wax till this day but when Im going to do a show portability is more profitable. And it doesn't matter what you are using a real DJ is versatile and can rock all equipment.

Hope I could be some help and Thank You for the comment.

  • would you recommend this for a beginner?

  • I would like to say yes but it is a lil advance for just a beginner. I would more recommend the Numark ICDMIX 3 its more for the starting out dj. Or if you have more of a budget look at the Numark MIXDECK CD/USB MIDI Controller Combo Player. Its lil more advance but a lil more in price. Hope we could help. The Sound Techs.

  • Pretty detailed video. I have the NS7. Any word if it will work with Numark's Virtual Vinyl/DJ 'right out' the box?

  • As far as we know numark virtual vinyl or numark cue will not work with the ns7 or the v7. We had looked into it on the numark cue and it does not work. Hope we were any help. Thanks The Sound Techs.

  • It does work with Virtual Dj i use it and the itch also, so u can do video on your ns7...
