  • Alex is soo tall compared to the rest of them lol!

  • If Jamal's dad was still Samuel L. Jackson Danny would have got that ass killed.."Yes he deserved to die and I hope he BURN IN HELL!!!"

  • poor Gaby 1 this is your last case b4 the wretched Gaby 2 came in

  • it would've been very interesting if they made an episode where Becky & Sam visit Jamal and meet the rest of the team! but unfortunately, this was the last great episode of Ghostwriter! a lot of people shit on Hector being on the team but cut the guy some slack! i think it was a great move adding him to the team! he fits in very well and he sounds like a person who can solve mysteries with the team. i will agree that adding Casey to the mix was very idiotic and also adding a new Gaby?! COME ON!

  • Why couldnt the last episode be of figuring out who Ghostwriter was instead of feeling cheated with that ridiculous Attack of the Slime Monster episode.

  • I thought Sophie eyes were supposed to be blue..

  • In real life those British kids would've been hauled down to the police station for questioning. Anyone who knows just where to look for the victim is assumed to be involved with the crime!

  • Was ghostwriter a slave? ("being chased by barking dogs")

  • @ajafogel yes he was - he was an ancestor of Jamal that was a slave that escaped and figured reading would be a powerful tool to help him be free - the creator revealed that later on after the show was cancelled

  • That "kidnapping" was too damn easy!!!

  • OMG. LOL Jamal's parents are taking this tooooooo lightly. LET THAT BE MY PARENTS! LOL

  • "Wait 'til they get my message. It WON'T be in code!" LOL

  • Liverpool is where the famous ill-fated Titanic steamship was built. In Jame's Camerons Titanic movie it says Liverpool under Titanic.

  • jamal is staying in tonight so he can bone the british chick.

  • hey i just realized that its flawed.....

during the reading, she said brown eyes but in the beginning it was blue eyes.

  • I had that Holiday song stuck in my head all day.

  • Being chased by barking dogs, could mean many things.

  • @Siluntwolf chased bt barking dogfs supports the escaped slave theory.

  • Did these British kids ever appear again on the series? Did they ever get to meet the New York team?

  • No. I wonder if they ever planned for that to happen, but we just didn't get to see it because the show ended prematurely.

  • Damn, I can't believe this was the 3rd to last case.

Wouldn't it be so great if there was a reunion show?

I don' t understand why the good shows have to die young, and get replaced by utter crap, only 3 and a half seasons, for a show that had the potential to go on for 8-10.

  • I agree this show had great characters and the writing was good for a "kids" show.

  • Thats really scary startin at 1:25...I wonder if the guy was about to kill Jamal..Jamal was pleadin for mercy..the guy coulda had a weapon in his hand when they only showed his mean eyes.

  • my bad i meant at like 1:12

  • man Ive been watching all of these shows for like three days now.

  • same here. make mine about a week

  • Rita and the author lady don't have Liverpool accents at all

  • Comment removed

  • hmm...why does Jamal always happen to have spare necklace pens around?

  • I wish that they could have had one big case that involved Rob in Australia, Sam and Becky in London and the Ghostwriter team in new York.

    That would be awesome!

  • And those two kids from the 20's!!

  • Yeah! That's right!

  • @funkyhunk I would have so loved that if they had. Everyone who has ever seen ghostwriter, like Craig who joined in season one, but did not appear after the episode, should have been in a final episode. I would have loved it to see people like Catherine Canellan from "Just in Time" all together solving a one big case, perhaps even solving the big mystery of Ghostwriter and who he really was. I wonder if they put that barking dog memory in that book that they made for him int the first season?

  • @funkyhunk That would be the perfect plot for a reunion movie.

  • lenni lookin all bad ass in leather, lol

the leutenant, is like, these damn kids!!! they're going to put me out of a job!

  • how do they have the SAME pens, even in london and always just have them where ever they are. even if they dont have time to go get pens. lol.

  • that was just the bomb

  • Hey here's a mistake, in part 1 (1/3) Wise Rita read that Sophie had bright "blue" eyes, here, the author reads that Sophie has bright "brown" eyes.

  • Wow, this keeps you on the edge of your char.

  • Thanks for the video i remember watching this when i was littel

  • I wonder if Jamal realises that he has a different dad than the earlier episodes, before it was Sam L Jackson.

  • We just assume that Jamal's dad has a problem with plastic surgery addiction and that couldn't be addressed in a kid's show for some reason, lol.

  • What a good show...I remember almost having goosebumps as a little kid when Ghostwriter mentioned his memory about the dogs.

  • Makes the comment I read about GW being Frank from "Just in Time" make even more sense. Frank was living on the street before the Doctor took him in...I'm not saying I believe it, but this and the other clues mentioned by a user in the last episode (What's with Alex?) are making it look a lot more believable.

  • How can Frank be GW. He saw GW himself. He can't be seeing his "own" ghost, or what not.

  • Time Travel? It's possible. Think outside the box on this one.

  • You know people are always saying that time travel is impossible, but on the other hand, that 's what we used to think about mechanical flight.

  • Well, time travel probably won't happen until a fifth dimension is realized, in which time travel would then be doable. There's always some consistently linear variable that must take place.

  • True that.

  • GW wasn't frank. but some of us think he might have been katheryn's father Dr. Canellan for a couple of reasons.

  • @NightxAngell nope!!!! timeline is off...i'm going with the ansestor of jamal's escaped slave theory...especially since he remembers being chassed by dogs

  • A friend of mine said that he thought GW was Jamal's great-grandfather Ezra. Remember how GW emerged in the first show from Erza's trunk.

  • For those of you who are interested in who Ghostwriter's identety is, it says in a New York Time's article from 1991 that the producer's intent was to have Ghostwriter be a famous 15-16th Centery Writer, but not Shakespeare.

  • @Robdeltonie If you look on Ghostwriter's Wikipedia Page, it lists all the clues to Ghostwriter's identity that were revealed through the show

  • That was my first thought too...that it was a relative of Jamal's...but it could have been anyone living in the house.

  • @sailorearth2007 he's definitely NOT frank, but what clue do people have that links the two?

  • This is the last eposide that Gaby appeared in because in the next epsoide, Four Days of A Cockatoo, a new girl plays Gaby and Casey returns

  • What????? No!!!

  • I love how Brockington's son has just been ASSAULTED and she's going on and on about her damn books, lol.

  • Why not? He's safe and sound, and the kidnapper was nabbed.

And if you're talking about before they nailed the kidnapper, it's cause she didn't know.

  • This is way before J.K. Rowling!

  • 5:36..... backstage peeps on the set?

  • Nah, they're probably extras who are acting as clients of the Bed and Breakfast.

  • i wonder if jamal grew any

  • Could you imagine if Samuel L. Jackson was still Jamal's father he probably would have called him all kinda MFers LOL...and in the second story, Lt. McQuaid was in arson, why is he always there solving cases?

  • He was arson, but I think at the end of the episode he gave them his card and told them to contact him if there was any other trouble.

  • i guess gw is frank. maybe barking dogs were people or his conscious bothering him not to perform the heart surgery on his dad when he was a child

  • I don't think so, as Frank was still alive when the team first discovered GW.

  • At first I didn't think much of it, but maybe Ghostwriter is Frank. There have been stories of people going back in time to help their past selves in order to change the future, and Harry Potter 3 is the best example of that. I bet if they continued the series instead of dropping it, the Who is Ghostwriter? mystery would be solved....

  • How did he get in the book where Jamal found him first? Also, there's a slight possibility of discontinuity with Frank's death being in 1992. It'd be close, but I'm not sure it's continuous.

  • You can find more information in the comments for the Just in Time episode. I'm just posting what I already read. Maybe they came up with the answers! To me, Ghostwriter is a ghost who helps the kids solve mysteries. I never thought about anything beyond that!

  • Same here.

  • In the first eposide Ghostwriter fell out of a book on the shelf in the basement, therefore he wasn't in the diary in the brick wall. But what was that book Ghostwriter was in?

  • @AmethystBeloved but ghostowrite doesn't know disbey or elvis....frank would

  • lol but lut. mcquade must be there fav detective

  • Well, probably so they don't have to put more characters in the show.

  • Umm did the boy who played sam also play bronson in the show round the twist ?

  • Can't be cause Round the Twist was an Australian show

  • I've been trying to type on my keyboard like Jamal. It's really weird looking.

  • @bladerunner386dx haha Me TOO!!! :)

  • LOL @ 5:26

  • I could've sworn that the character in the books was described as having blue eyes in part one, but then when the author read it she said brown eyes. Am I wrong??

  • oops. wasn't as long as i put it, i apologize. LOLOL!

  • oops. wasn't as long as i put it, i apologize. LOLOL!

  • GHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTTTTTWRITER!" oh the memories.

  • on the part one(2of3)of this episode when wise rita reading the book and she talks about sophie she says she has bright blue eyes but this lady says she has dark brown eyes... im just checking to make sure if anyone else caught that because i never catch things like that

  • I noticed that too...course when you're a 9 year old watching this on PBS, you really don't notice things like that :D

  • Anybody from Brooklyn? I need your help! Which library is the GW team at when Colin gets kidnapped?

  • Soo many precious memories coming back to me, as i watch these awesome GW clips :D!!, Thank You :D!!!

  • i LOVE ghostwriter! thanks so much for posting all of these! i never saw this one and i found myself actually wanting to find out what happens next, lol. great childhood memories. thanks!

  • WOW! Ghostwriter actually remembered something about his life! Being chased by barking dogs.

  • There's a theory going around, that Ghostwriter was a slave back when he was alive. Because when a slave escapes, the owners usually have dogs hunt them down. That could explain Ghostwriter's fear of the dogs. Also, that slave could be Jamal's ancestor or something. All pure speculation...but dunno about his ability to read and write. Maybe he was secretly taught, or he taught himself....

  • If you saw that Just In Time episode where Ghostwriter had to help that boy named Frank there is possibly another theory. Ghostwriter could have been Frank's ghost because in Jamal and Lenni's time, Frank was dead. And Ghostwriter was the only one who knew that helping Frank would save the team and Jamal's father.

  • Whoa, I remember that episode! Never thought of that at all, but that's so possible too. It's weird if that's the case...imagine, communicating with your own ghost. O_O

  • That's been my theory too! :) Because Jamal released Ghostwriter out of a book in his basement that Frank stayed in. I believe that the book was possibly Frank's diary, and that ghostwriter stayed in there until Jamal released him.

  • Ahh nevermind about the diary..took a closer look at that book GW came out of, it looks like an actual book and not a diary. But still looks really old like it could've belonged to Frank, or GW back in time.

  • @Atsukochan you're actually right on the money!!! check out wikipedia....i agree with the slabve theory, people who think hhe's Frank obviously aren't paying attention to the show

  • Back when the series first aired, my dad had a theory that Ghostwriter was Jamal's great-grandfather, Ezra. Jamal's dad mentioned him in the pilot. The trunk Danitra was taking to college belonged to him and the book Ghostwriter came out of was on top of the trunk.

  • Actually, that would make a lot of sense.

  • yeah it sort of kind of does

  • I am not exactly sure. on the trunk he came out of the initials were SF

  • I contacted GPN and they said they never heard of it, or it was discontinued, and I was like "WHAT??" So I found it on Ebay.
