  • Dude: YOU ROCK!!!

  • I think thats my old bass. I sold it about 4 years ago in CT. I dont know about you, but I would get feedback big time on the 5th fret E string to the point I could not control it. But what a sound! you play it well.

  • すばらしい 参考にさせてもらいます

  • nice job bro. one of my favorite strawberry songs

  • nice

  • this was gone for a while. glad it's back. excellent!

  • u plays very well... i just begun to study this tune on the bass and it's a difficult one. Congratulations dude

  • Could you do a cover of Chicago's Listen with this bass?

  • Good job! Very musical.

  • glad to see todays young people appreciate the classics!! great job

  • you've got it nailed , great sounding bass

  • Great job!!! Did you write it out? They did some great songs. Smokin' bass too. Have you ever tried the Rational's version of Respect?

  • Beautifull Bass!

  • nice!! what's your set-up with that Vox bass? amp? etc. sounds great

  • get a job. cut your hair. join the marines. eat a wheel of cheese. get old. become divorced. watch retro clips on youtube. eat a bar of soap. argue and threaten people anonymously on youtube. get a job.

  • Excellent playing! Great job!

  • You did a lovely job on that piece.....a truly perfect rendition that actually makes the whole thing sound better. Pursue your talent! Also, be careful to preserve that instrument, which is quite fine.

  • Great memories. I actually had that record back in...68?

  • Love those pencil-necked Vox basses! So easy to play.

  • From one bass player to another, excellent job! Yes, this is a difficult song to play -- but you nailed it.

    Keep up the good work.

  • Great to see youth understanding music and history

  • Nice combo and sound wall! This sounds even better, than listening to this on the radio or mp3.

  • muy bueno

  • Beautiful bass, and nicely played!

  • Very cool bass and I like this song very much!

  • i really love that bass man good work

  • Brilliant well done. You're good at that.

  • magnificent! also loved seeing your accordion in the background. i too started with accordion lessons, before learning 6-string rhythm guitar.

  • Bass is more difficult to play than guitar, unlike what some people would try to have you believe based on the number of strings.

This dude did a great job with a relatively complicated tune.

  • Another thing is this song is in a Bossa Nova type rythym which puts much of the emphasis on the bass player.

  • can't agree with you more.

you from chicago? 'garfield goose' would be the dead give-a-way!

  • I'm sorry, but bass is not more difficult. anyone could learn how to play bass faster than they could learn guitar. guitar is simply more complex on many levels. not just because there's more strings. anyone knows that. by the way, the vid is awesome. love it.

  • It's strange to say that one instrument is more difficult to play than another. Each one, even tiny ones like the ukulele have their own challenges to overcome and their own demands. I play both guitar and double bass and I can tell you that I find them both equally tough, but in very different ways.

  • totally awesome dude! beautiful Vox bass, i've never seen anything like it. tanx fer da vid, keep jam'n =0)

  • awesome dude

  • Awesome! YOu play the bass so smoothly. Like you were born with it. The extra bass sound makes the song really nice

  • You have the Vox Apollo yet!!

    Congratulations!!

If you like I have 1 video in youtube, if you want to see...

    Bye

  • Where did you find that 68 VOX? It looks well cared for.

  • I purchased this bass over the internet from South Side Guitars in New York.

  • Excellent job on a great song by a great band.

  • I have always been an SAC fan and Tomorrow is my favorite. You do a tremendous job with your Vox and I enjoy listening to this particular video very much. I can't help but think that if this arrangement were written and performed today Collective Soul be perfect candidates to record this song.

  • Sweet bass man! I got a Harmony H22/1 and it's awesome just like yours.

  • where do u get all this vintage stuff

  • can you play birds in my tree??

  • amazing :)

  • That's MY bass part! I re-recorded it for the album version (that you're playing with here) and with my guitar solo. GREAT JOB!

    Ed King

  • Thanks alot Ed! You guys are all awesome man~ And awesome arrangements too. I will change the info right away. Thanks very much for your comment. I will upload more SAC songs in the future so check back often.

  • At the end of the verses (before the bridge) where you play E, D, C...I played double-stops (2-note chords)...not single notes. Thought you'd like to know.

  • Thanks alot Ed! Ill keep that in mind next time I play this song. Thanks for the tip.

  • When you play E-D & C at the end of the verses before the bridge...play those as double-stops (2-note chords). That's what I did...makes a fuller sound.

  • Great tone. The bass is cool and you are getting a killer sound. --Paul Marshall

    Strawberry Alarm Clock 1969-1971
