Wow. I'm glad people feel so strongly about the original and its message. I love France Gall, and this cut is one of my favorites of her 80s period, but really, there IS the music, you know, and this version does the music proud, if not the lyrics. The video IS rather TRASHY, I will admit, but I think it's cool someone is doing a France Gall/ Berger song with a bit of muscle. I believe Kate Ryan simply thought this was a cool tune with a good groove, and went from there. It's Pop music. Relax.

You know its incredibly funny the people who say Kate Ryan is horrible because she is not original. I hate to break it to you haters, she turned a song into a dance song and made it popular globally. To me, thats original. Besides, some of the best songs in the world are remade and obviously if you are taking the time to come here and say OMG its horrible, it appealed to you and you had to say something, hence doing what it was suppose to do.
