  • My parents took me to see this movie in 1977!

  • Es una película que me trae muchos recuerdos.

  • If P-Funk did disco this is what you got

  • It's too bad that, today, we don't have R&B bands like this in The Music Industry. I guess this is what happens when one puts all of one's eggs in HIP-HOP's basket. Oh well...

  • They got down but those damn lights flickering ouuuuu...lol ! Rose Royce is unmistakenly one of the BADDEST groups ever!! Gwen is still BADD even today. I use to love to watch Don Kirshner's Rock Concert and my man "The Wolf Man Jack on "The Midnight Special"........now that's what you call "Old School" lol !

  • SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • They play this song in a lot of Eureka episodes.

  • This one is on Miss Lily

  • Miss Gwen Dickey on Vocal i didn't forget you!!!! i oops i forgor Mr Henry Garner sorry Homey!!!

  • Miss Gwen Dickey on Vocal i didn't forget you!!!!

  • Sad thing this band was doing all the work while others made all the money.

  • for a minute i thought it was the jackson 5

  • she mo fo bad

  • poor audio

  • Cause the funk will sho nuff make you stank

    Pee funky

Funk not only moves it removes

Take me to the bridge and drop me off into some funk.

  • I bet THAT was a fun show... looks like it, all these years later.

  • sound quality might be bad, but I'm glad it's still there...

music of the 70s was loud, sweaty, sexy, joyful, performed tough-minded and played with great mastership. If you consider playing in a band today, first watch some of the old heroes, they teach you the right ways!

  • Damn Gwen was hot!

  • love the white boots

  • Bad audio, GREAT OUTFITS!

  • great song !

  • Thank god my music louder. Why can't You tube find a decent video for this song.IOt may be from the 70's.It doesn't have to sound from the 70's.

  • Wow, real musicians!

  • you did not believe me,you got smart for yourself.I told you,I love you.You too smart for a man.

  • i love the movie. classic

  • NOW THATS A BAND !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • j'aime beaucoup!!!j'adore sa voix!!!

  • She had such a hit

  • the film was awsome, best bit was the piss bomb, yet too laugh so much.

  • nice job. not like the synthesized sampled crap today

  • man where did the FILLER Up and get a free car wash,we have to pay pay pay these days and only get a few pennies off for buying gas

  • I am always impressed with live performances that are so close to the mass produced song...and then they kick up a notch!!!

  • @josepheb12 you are bang on; dukes (I think that is his first name) bass is better than on the record...and I bought the vinyl in the late '70's or whenever it was. However,, geezer can play! Impressive indeed

  • Whoa! I LOVED this movie back in the day....does anyone here know where I can watch this movie, full version? Thanks for posting!! Maryann AKA Mom 2

  • This was a stellar performance!

  • I had almost forgotten about this song,WOW thanks for posting :)

  • This song is awesome , thanks for posting.

  • Don Kirshners!

  • Those were the days

  • Man I wish I could have lived in the 70's it seemed like fun... But I can't cause I'm 12.... Wutev ! Great song

  • i was 18 then, awesome time

  • I'd like to see a remake as well... starring Chris Tucker..lol.... I guess the problem is that you rarely find and personal touch car wash around... Do they even exist at all anymore?

  • Yeah, there allover the place here in Lafayette, Louisiana.

  • Hey, they're all over the place in London England. Run by east European immigrants.

  • Chris Tucker as who? He could play a few characters. I know Eddie Griffin would be good as the "Fly".

  • @thesatindoll11

They have one here in Burlington, IA.

  • I think 'The Wash' with Snoop was supposed to be the remake... Yeah... Not really the same...

  • Yeah, I live in Detroit and there are a bunch of them in the hood lol

  • @MsFaffinette89 yup i know exactly what you mean and where you talking about lol

  • Man the 70's were the "greatest era of all time"

  • @Vin1975C well at least there was no snoop dog and guys with their pants half down their legs but actually the late 50s to the early 90s was ok until rap came along

  • @w9x7cv3vg6 in all fairness you shouldn't bash an entire genre. I'm sure there are some creative minds in the hip hop genre that you would appreciate. I could say that disco sucks but then I wouldn't be thinking about artists like Rose Royce and the Ohio Players

  • @Vin1975C Any era before the 2000s was good.

  • @TheCrawler333 except for the '80s haha

  • @Vin1975C love the nostalgia but I can't agree :)

    Give me 50's 60's 80's and a monstrous90's any day!

That said.. this is still a good track

  • Yeah !! I was 14 then... Great times !

  • What a great fun preformance, and really groovin

  • the 70´s are Great...

  • This is the song!

  • Wow¡, q chevere debió haber sido los 70, yo nací en los 80, pero creci con la música de los 90.

  • One of my favorites in mid 1970's including Bob Marley's "Lively Up Yourself".

  • Great song! Chinese Communist Party: end your 10 year persecution of Falun Gong practitoners now.

  • Ok wouldn't had been great to see a remake of this movie..Cat williams as richard pryor..Destinychild as the pointer sisters..Lil kim as the prosttitute. No disrespect. lol.love this song.

  • Snoop Dogg did a remake. I haven't seen it myself, but I know it exists. BET plays it occasionally.

  • lol..no that wasn't a remake, that was a play off the movie..Im talking about the movie with the same content just the next generation of players. I saw it.."The Wash".

  • Oh ok. Oops. Well then I agree, I'd like to see one as well.

  • Yeah, the 70s were fun, which is funny because people were far less wealthier; although that seems to be making a comeback. In the meantime, people became wealthier, lost their rythm, grew small dicks and now they're financially handicapped

  • its good well done be proud

  • Funk babe!
