I just don't understand about people prefer Japanese dub. Why come here to rage about English dub? You can just go ahead and listen to the Japanese audio if you want your anime to be untouched. Nobody forces you to listen to the English dub.

Lucky Star's dub is also by Bang Zoom and it was out of control good, adding yet another mark to the list of reasons why Lucky Star is better than it really deserves to be.

Forty seconds of Yui is too soon to tell, but if the K-On! dub is as good as that, I will completely lose my shit. My shit will fall between the sofa cushions and I will search the whole house for my shit. Milk cartons will say "Have you seen this shit?"

@YuukiandYume That's not until the second season, and as far as I know, they only have Season 1. If Season 1 does really well in America, there's no doubt in my mind that Bandai Ent. will pick it up. So if you want a season 2 dub, support the series and spread the word (also it helps the industry as well).

Totally interested in English Ritsu (she is my fav chara) I was surprised a more girlish voice was used instead of a tomboy one... ironically something more suited for Steph lol.

You would think after this many years people would stop trying to insist that every dub (in any language) should sound exactly as the original. That is not the purpose of dubbing and the voice actors should find their own voice for the characters they play.

i'm kind of dissapointed about ritsu's voice, i wanted her to have wendee lee's voice actress

as for mio , love it!

the dub might not be totally good, but i might be wrong, i just have to get used to the voice actresses dubbing k-on

Seems Cristina Vee will be fine as Mio. Personally, I think I like the voices in this one better than the Animax one, because the voices sound more different from each other(that was probably a very badly constructed sentence)

It's hard to not have an immediate negative reaction, because I'm so used to their original voices. (Watched both seasons at least 3 times by now) Maybe I'll listen to the trailer a few more times later after I get over the cognitive dissonance.

Yui's voice isn't half bad, but is a lot more breathy. Would take some getting used to, but fits OK.

Mio's voice didn't wig my brain out that bad, but need to hear more dialogue.

Ritsu's voice just isn't doing it for me. Especially the measure count.
