  • NA vs More CCs + Turbo... And????

  • VTEC ® just kicked in, YO!

  • NSX = Underrated

    Corvette = slightly overrated

  • The race isn't even, need the ZR1 instead Z06. Their porche is way more than 500 hp,

  • @elpianistaaltamirano yea. it's 501 hp. SOO much more than 500

  • @elpianistaaltamirano

    Porsche 911 Turbo 997 3.6: 480hp

    Corvette Z06 7.0: 505hp (25 MORE hp)

It wasn't lack of power, it was a matter of traction (AWD vs RWD)

  • driver mod for z06 indeed!

  • nsx stock need turbo

  • @abcabodcba

Need turbo? Then it wouldn't be "stock" anymore.

  • Hatori said hai sayonara. That was funny.

  • Vette needs a driver mod.

  • GOOOO GERMAN POWER

  • Wahaha... The Honda is going backwards. It takes a serious contender to beat a 911 Turbo, something like a Mig-29 or F-16...

  • Nice work porshe

  • Japanese technology is awesome!

  • Full time Tsuchya learnt to speak English now.

6ppl dislike this, 6 ppl drive evos.

  • Gotta love this Japanese language... Makes my day!!!

  • 0:15 DAMN watch him shift!

  • wut he was saying when he got in the vette was aiiieeee!!! i cant drive a car with 505 hp through the rear i have no idea how 2 launch it! so the the mr will look just as fast and i will lose 2 the porche that the americans rip apart in america while driving this

  • That 911 won cause it got turbo

  • The evo will always be the dig king cause of AWD but it should never have kept up with a z06 like that, new drivers are needed....

  • chapanese cars sucks!

  • @jojajo2707 ur spelling sucks.....and "chapanese" cars are the most reliable cars in the world...making them superior

  • looks like someone granny shift the type-r.

  • Comment removed

  • @HONDATA24 Double clutching is 100% unnecessary.... FnF retard

  • who gave these damn asians a porsche.....

  • @westfolax7 you wont say that if you have enought knowledge of who Tsuchiya is.

  • @westfolax7 You do know that one of those 'Damn Asians' is known as the Drift King?

  • he retired so let see who's the next drift king ^^

  • look at that clunky shifter. no excuse chevy.

  • I dont understand what they speaking but the show is cool

  • i completley agree mattmen king god bless u chile

  • lol honda hahahahahahah never put japs against germans

  • @TheHrant111 haha!!!

  • @TheHrant111 hi there if they both won thé war they could have build a "übercar" together,peace;-)

  • Super final startuuuuuuu

  • All this talk below, did anyone notice that the Jap Crap didnt even make the final race? It was an American Car versus a (way more expensive) German car. I'd buy a Z06 and throw a supercharger on it and smoke just about everything for way cheaper than a Porsche. And the Jap crap; well, we saw them lose already.

  • @mattmenking u obvously missed the whole point i was trying to make. the nsx has the luxery of way way way more expensive cars than it. also its not about who won.. its a straight drag, hardly a test of performance.. do some research and stop being a naive 350 buff.. its out dated!!!!

  • @mattmenking they won't stand a chance with the Japanese cars in circuits and auto x.

  • american large vehicles kill ppl when they smash up foriegn cars, it the "economical" way of weeding out imports from the us, according to us car makers, and they do it with ur lives! its ok i got insurance to cover his death, and plus... ill b safe in this huge tank,,, its bs ppl ur lives at stake!!

  • @jdrizzo21 the fuck are you rambling about

  • WTF IS THIS WORLD COMING TO?

  • honda simply, simple. to work on, to designed parts that are practical not outlandish. ever work on gm cars? does it take all the tools in the box to take the damn thing apart? mutiple diff sizes to take off one part, st and metric. its an abomination to the american ppl to sell such trash. its no wonder the honda nsx produces the most hp/ lb ft torque per liter than any production car made today.. do some research please. or r u just afraid of wut u willl find out?

  • BOTTOM LINE... if u build a car with more precision ansd accuracy, it will last longer, but throw together a car then drop in a motor and well, u get wut america has been puking up fo the last 50 yrs!! honda started in the 70's ford in the early 1900. so far honda has better resale value and holds together better than any domestic ever made. yeah theres some old cars out there, but dont forget they were restored!!

  • have u ever noticed after just 100,000 mi an american motor will start going bad one piece at a time? yes gm 350s well takin care of will last a few hundred k, but the body will be so shitty by then. ever heard of the lemon law, u buy a car its a bad one, so u get another instead?, japs dont have this problem b/c they do not allow any imperfections in the building proccess. it therefore weeds out the bad ones if any.

  • also the "american way" is to own a car for a few yrs and then trade it in for a new one. the us automakers wouldnt b making money if u bought a car and it lasted a lifetime. they want u to keep buying and keep buying. therefore they do not incorporate the same precision and engineering to make it last forever.

  • but they also have higher exacting tolerances, piston ring gap and other specifications are more precise in their engineering. also they start with a motor and build a car around it, not the other way around as do american motors.

  • the reason jap cars are so reliable can be traced back to the economy and the ways of thinking of the japanese. the idea behind jap cars is to find a car u like and can afford, and keep it forever. they take care of their vehicles. they cannot afford to just go get a new one every yr or so.

  • @jdrizzo21 Americans can't effort buying cars every year either. The problems is that there is too much credit so most of the cars you see in the US roads are owned by banks not citizens. This is the way it works here, banks own everything. From houses, to cars, to bikes and so on. People work over time so they can drive their new ford.

  • @mardan1974 i agree. the evil banks with their snaring credit! i just hope ppl do the research into how and why the diff. auto makers make their cars. but it sounds like u got a good head on ur shoulders, which is more than i can say for most of america! thanks for the comment! peace and safe driving!

  • ok something needs to be set straight here.

  • american cars are shitt haha

  • Ping pong cars getting put in there place again. All you import guys must be gettin tired of gettin spanked all the time. European and American cars will always rule you bitches. That guy cant launch that vette for shit especially on the first race.

  • I suppose you spend your time watching your vette in the shop. I'd rather drive a car.

  • @carmodifire You obviously have no idea what the fuck your talking about.

  • Obviously I do. Don't get your face red in anger. Or should I say neck....

  • damn that porsche made the nsx look like a snail's shit.

  • turbos don't add inches to your dick.

  • Different induction so its not really a fair game.

Turbo charge the NSX and change the NSX engine displacement to match the Porsche and see if the porsche gap is the same.

It would be but in reverse with the NSX in front. NSX will win for sure.

  • z06s are alot better on a rolling start

r35 would beat it in a stand still but in a rolling start the zo6 would win

  • @chillpickle520 dude maybe you blind but they are the pro

  • You fucks can't drive! Learn to launch the Z06!

  • dude there japs one of the best drivers in the world man im sure they can launch any car

  • its an evo first of all which is awd so its gonna come off the line quiker then the z06 will catch it in the end

  • I want those guys' jobs!

  • CORVETTO!

Don't know what they sayin, but im guessing by the laughs they are clowing the shit out of the CORVETTTO

  • Yeah, it appears to be the G06 model.

  • The EVO and the NSX have SEMI-SLICKS tires !!!!!!!

    It's a big avantage for a 0-400m.

And in reality, both more than 280 HP.

  • yeah...nsx has like 295hp maybe 300.....evo has (if its a MR) 320hp

  • who cares about the 20-25 hp difference; there's a huge weight difference, i'm sure. nsx is lightweight.

  • @rayj778 between wich cars? nsx and ?

  • Put an American in the Vette to see it out in front

  • from a roll it would be the zr1 all day. it's not easy controlling 640hp at the rear wheels.

  • that isnt the zr1, just the regular z06. zr1 wouldve been a slightly different story.

  • Where does it say in the video that this is ZR1 , you stupid twat?

  • uh, there is no zr1 here, KarlT01, and you'd have to be a stupid twat to think the z06 here was one. ay KarlT01 - twat?

I was replying to orangeorphan..... good one KarlT01, twat.

  • fucken english please

  • porsche was insane, and that vette was sweet, but is it a fair drag race against an evo or nsx? price, displacement, bhp etc.

Stick them on a twisty road and the results would of been complete opposite.

  • turbo is a destroyer ;)

  • You know they would have thrown in the gt-R in this race if it was released when they filmed it. Would have been a much better contender than that evo. GTR vs Z06 vs 911 turbo, the flagship contenders from all around the world. God i love cars.

  • @ZeerXX the skyline was available and so was the supra so idk why they didn't place them in the race

  • lol "corvetto"

  • @jnr1989 hahahhahahahahhhahahahaha

  • ya i agree the vette driver wasnt the best.

  • You need a longer track and the vette zo6 would win, starting isnt as good as the vette doesnt have awd.

  • Always lame excuse from Corvette lovers.

  • thank you. although the vette is the only american car i would drive, these people are upset that there cars are being beaten. but american engineering sucks. as seen here.

  • American engineering sucks? Why does my American engineered pick-up truck keep going mile after mile? Why do the products of American engineering keep working faithfully year after year? American engineered products are being purchased in this terrible time of recession and by consumers from all over the globe. American engineering cannot be any worse than other nations.

  • american engineering is reliable because it's ancient..if you want high-tech AND reliability there's only one way....japanese..

  • The internal-combustion engine is not very old. Even Japanese cars are using this technology, so all auto makers are using ancient technology, at least American technology has an attractive exterior package to go along with their reliability.

  • that's the only thing you know about engines in ameica?? that it's called an internal combustion engine??wow! that's too high tech for me to understand..idiot..have you ever heard of direct fuel injection, variable turbine geometry, double overhead camshaft, variable cam timing, active differential, yaw sensors, active suspension,????? I think NOT!! if you want to enrich your knolwdge about something called "cars:" go to germany or japan..

  • Internal combustion describes ALL engines that combust their fuel/air mixture internally, numbnuts. Yes I have heard of all of this bacause most of this engine technology has been around since WWII. Ancient technology is what you are describing as Hi-tech? You are the idiot!

  • you sir..apart from the fact that your are an idiot you are also a retard..i know what the internal combustion engine is..i have to inform you that i'am a third year student at the automotive engineering cousre of the university of manchester. and to give you some helpfull information about cars (beacause judging by your reply you don't have a clue about cars)..all those tecnologies i mentioned earlier have been developed no more than 20 years ago..

  • i don't know if you've noticed but NONE of the cars made in the usa even uses one of those tecnologies..if you know any american car that incorporates any of which i reffered to earlier give me the name of it..i dare you!

  • Flattery will get you nowhere with me sir. I can tell you are a third year student, probably at an elementary school, because apparently you have never heard of WWII. Only one word describes you; DUMBASS!

  • when if i am a dumbass and you are a bright mind why didn't you give me an answer to what i asked you?? maybe because you cannot keep up arguing about cars against an automotive engineer?? idon't know if you can read but notice the words "active" and "variable" and "yaw"..they are key elements on understanding how miserable your knowledge about cars is..oh and i am still expecting an example of an american car that incorporates such advanced technologies...

  • DI, VTG,DOHC and VCT have been used on diesel engines for years now. Don't forget VVT(variable valve timing). I was trained to work on certain parts of an automobile over 23years ago. I know and understand what technologies you speak of. There are several Japanese cars that I liked well enough to purchase,Mazda RX7 and Acura NSX. I build engines as a hobby and I like American V-8s,V-6s and Inline sixes, now these engines are marvels of engineering. I like all makes and types of engines.

  • i do too..but the type of engines or cars in general that i like the most are the ones with ultra high tech..and i am sorry to inform you that none of the modern american cars incorporates such technologies..i love the zr-1 and the camaro's looks though..

  • American cars may not incorporate the technologies you mentioned. But you did mention the ZR1 which uses a pushrod V-8 and a supercharger which means it will go around the track all day long while the more expensive and more sophisticated cars are in the pits.

  • if the expensive and sophisticated cars you are talking about are ferraris and lamborghinis then yes..you are right..but not if we are talking about the nissan gtr ot the lexus lf-a..don't forget the reliability of japanese cars...

  • Yes I do know that Japanese cars are reliable. I had a 1978 Dodge Aspen that had a 225 Slant Six. This car had 190,000 miles on the odometer when a drunk crashed into it. Just one example of reliability. It was simple and reliable. I could do all maintenance to this engine just by leaning over the fenders. I had to go under the car to do one thing and that was to drain the oil. It is common to see 200,000 to 300,000 miles. Several made it to 400,000 miles. These engines were rebuildable.

  • dodge?? isn't it an american car brand?

  • Yes it is American name now owned by FIAT. Which now FIAT will be able to learn how to build reliable cars.

  • you can say that again..fiat's are horrible as for reliability..

  • American cars may not have the latest hi-tech gear but they are reliable, affordable and economical. I have owned American cars for more than 25years. Many Japanese brands build their cars in America using American-made components because the quality is so good. Mazda vehicles are built along Ford vehicles in Ford plants. Japanese brands buy American components for sale in Japanese branded vehicles. America does the same with Japanese components. Brittain still makes the Rover V-8=1960's GM V-8.

  • as for affortable and reliable i tottaly agree..but in terms of economy....

  • Economy of a vehicle is up to the individual driver of that vehicle. Plus alternative fuels are available. I have seen big V-8 engines mated to overdrive transmissions that can get 28mpg to 30mpg. A big engine will use less energy to do the same work as say a 4 cylinder. The need for less energy decreases the need for fuel. An 800HP V8 mated to a 6-speed OD trans will use less energy to move the vehicle than a 150HP V-6 mated to the same 6-speed OD trans, and less fuel consumption.

  • it really depends on the driving of each person but when your engine has the latest technology of turbocharging and direct fuel injection it will certainly be more economical..

  • I can honestly say that fuel injection has it's advantages but from my experience a properly calibrated carburetor can acheive very similar fuel economy. I would use fuel injection with a turbo, carburetor with supercharger. A carburetor can be just as economical, contrary to what many think.

  • no it's not..believe me..that's what i've been studying so far..

  • Direct injection in a gasoline engine does not produce substantially better fuel economy than port injection. Fuel injection, direct or port, does not improve fuel economy substantially better than a carburetor. No signifigant proof has ever been shown to me that fuel injection is that much better. The carburetor has been upgraded through the years and can acheive great economy.

  • @TheSteamLocomotive then why arent all civics running v8s with ridiculously geared transmissions? bc v8s use more fuel. they use less energy? they have x2 as many cylinders

  • why is this comment so badly rated...?

  • yes

  • the vette driver sucks

  • was that an Ls3 vette? if so, why was its acceleration shit against the evo

  • The evo must be an fq400?!

  • uhhh no crap the 911 wins? it has a smaller engine with a turbo, obviously it's launch is going to be much much quicker. increase the length of the track and you'll see what happens to that porsche.

  • Let's put a turbo in the NSX and vette and see what happen.. it'll beat that 911 turbo..

  • shut up PLEASE you sound stupid. Add a boost controller and basic mods on the 911 and we are back to were we left off

  • You sound stupid too.. Let's add boost controller and basic mods on a turbo NSX or Vette and see what happen?? N/A vs turbo is not really that fair. 911 without turbo can't really beat NSX or vette

  • NO i dont, these cars are stock. A turbo vette or nsx is faster then a stock 911 turbo. HAPPY lol Now lest do a turbo upgrade on a 911 turbo

  • Maybe you don't know a GT3 (N/A engine...) is as fast as a Turbo on a 1/4 mile but is faster on a 100Km/h to 200Km/h than a Turbo...so it will beat a NSX and even a Z06 with its shitty gearbox!

  • Check the specs before you talk. My 2007 GT3 got 415hp 0-60 in 4.1secs and i cannot beat a 2007 911 turbo. 911 Turbo is a lot faster than a GT3..

    2010 GT3 got 435hp 0-60 in 4.0 secs

    2007 911 turbo got 480hp 0-60 in 3.7secs

  • Your "hot wheels" GT3 you wanted to say???? don't make me laugh, you're a 22 yo liar and yes, a GT3 is faster from 100 to 200Km/h than a turbo, too much weight...

  • Are u kidding me? If i m 22 i can't have a GT3??

okay, my dad has it, i don't own it, but i own an IS350. Anyways, it's just hard to believe a GT3 is faster from 100-200. Are there prove?

I just asked my dad, he said 911 turbo 0-100mph in 7.8secs, GT3 in 8.2secs

  • This is the interwebs fag, no body give s a shit what you or ur dad drives. So STFU and stop dreming fag boy.

  • calm down dude..

  • did it died?

  • NNNOOOOOBBBBBBB GTFO lolol

  • huh ? LOl.. calm down.

  • so?

the evo has a turbo too, and it still lost.

the only reason is had the vette at the start of the race is because its awd.

  • chris harris of autocar had the same problem apparently it's easy to beat the sychros on the 1-2 change in the zo6

  • It is easy because the Gearbox is a shitty one, a shame with such an engine but you got what you pay for

  • Hmm, Id have to say I prefer the NSX, even though its the slowest of the bunch.

You can always do more to up the Hp/Tq, but having a rigid race-spirited Mid-engine/RWD platform like the NSX...

...well thats the dream of every tuner.

The 911 is nice in that regard too tho...

Now if I was more into drag racing, Id take the Vette, which, with a few mods, probably could get the best 1/4 times of all of these.

    Theres my $0.02

  • Me too. The NSX-R is a perfectly balanced sports car.

  • fuck that muscle all the way fuck the tuners

  • oh dear god you made the biggest mistake of your life....puting an asian behind the wheel.....lol

  • Looks like you mother and father have made the biggest one of theirs.... Whoops.... I didn't pull out in time.

  • hell yeah porsche all day

  • id take the nsx or evo !

  • ni pashou ni ashley michelle wa staato

  • vette vs evo.hahhahahahaha

a 4 cyl was right there with the v8

  • Lol? It's AWD of course it'll do have decent in a drag from a dig... but the vette took it quick and the guy didn't have that great of a launch in the vette no tire spin at all.

  • You do know that tire spin is a bad thing, right?

  • Yup, but that also means he started off very slow as well, I'm not saying do tire spin but usually a squeak is nice.

  • PORSCHE POWERR !

  • opss Americans lose this battle - but be careful they will came and take your petrol

  • 2.0 litr's lancer is very very fast!

  • say what you want about jap cars and the evo, but if i could buy a 4 door with 405 bhp, 4wd, a top speed of 180+ mph and all for under 40,000 gbp i'd take it over any car.

  • Don't forget, you'll have to be seen driving it.

  • dame rite, i'd take it as well

  • These guys seem to have a really hard time getting decent starts with high power rear-wheel drive cars.

However, since they only try each race once, there isn't a chance for them to learn how to best launch the car.

They need to have several trials to learn how to launch and get an accurate time.

  • they are prob two of the best drivers from japan. i couldn't see anything wrong with the starts. i will say in the z06 the boy and have some problem with getting second gear. i have heard there ain't much room in the z06 when changing gear, that could be it.

  • lol at the yankees getting butthurt

    4WD>>>>>>>>RWD

Didn't mommy every teach you that?

  • this one seems plausible. i could see the races resulting like this..

  • bullshit..fuckin japs.. the z06 has way better launch then a faggy Evo and it been prooven that it can rape the 911. stupid Japanese drivers

  • The evo is 4WD - maybe thats the reason ;)

  • 4wd does not have top end. it actually looses top end. this the video is gay and stupid.

  • Sure, there is more power loss in a 4WD car, but this is from a dig. 4WD is the way to go most cars.

Evos are fast, but sure, corvettes are faster. Just not all the way from a dig.

  • yeah they are faster from a dig. were are you getting your info. it depends on the tires..all ls1 need is tires and it can beat that thing you call a sports car

  • Thats retarded...the guy driving the vette didnt look like he knew how to drive a left side car.

  • evo kept up pretty good

  • is it only me or these drivers are not pushing the gas as they are in a race??!!

  • Vette would kill it!!!fake

  • vette would never kill a 911

  • Boring boring comments about the vette!!! The other three cars are all wheel drive (good launchers) So with the rear wheel drive only wheel spin occurs!!! SIMPLE but good drive by the evo anyways

  • Correction: NOT* another Magnussen.

  • yes, most of times the porsche will win, it´s 4wd , much more easier to drive, the z06 require higher skills to get the full potential..

  • So you're saying that a tuned car will beat a standard car? Wauv, you're clever...

  • ya but its not

  • Got 2 love the 911 and Nsx .Super cars

  • 100 comentários!!

  • 1- "rendez vous" at the next corner... 2- Don't worry german car fan, the killer with the V 10 VTEC is soon .

  • lol, you're a joke. go finish serving my fries before you burn them. bet u work everyday till 1am at the drive through just so you can buy the b18 swap for ur eg lol. fag!

  • ohh god, shut the fuck up karmahunden, go find something better to do than talk shit to people on the tube u fucken lowlife, 10 bucks says u dont even have a job, go suck a dick!!!!

  • well ion the freeway the z06 does actualy have a chance to beat the 911 turbo, from a high mph roll no doubt! because the gears and the power the z06 makes with its dry sump oil system! no turbo lag wat so ever LOL and its crazy 7000RPM ripping throu the gears! but the 997 turbo is what i would get anyday! so remember from dead stop porsche will win all the time from roll the z06!
