always wanted this game and now I finally do. Hell this is just awesome fun to play against some friends, lemme tell you. The day I got it I immediatelly started to cut out the models from their trays and being no hobbyist I cut myself about 6 times to my fingers, the same night I had to play a keyboard at a gig - man that hurts , but its all right - after all I bled for the Emperor !

Advanced Ordered mine on the morning it was put on the website. I don't know about you guys but I am so unbelievably excited about Space Hulk! If people want to put bad comments about the game then forget about them, were all psyched for this and NO-ONE should be allowed to stop us! :D

Also did the genestealer bit in the video scare the life out of anyone? Man I jumped so high I nearly WAS at the space hulk!

People are querying the size and while perhaps there's been a little size creep I don't think it's anything to worry about unless you've previously built a very tight fitting 3D Hulk Layout.

My only wish (well aside from the inclusion of plastic scenics and neutral SM sculpts) would actually have been for smaller miniatures - say 15mm.

That would greatly reduce the amount of space required and would allow much more scope for epic 3D Hulks.

By the looks of things, 3rd ed. will be bringing with it some nice features of the first edition - very appropriate seeing as this is Space Hulk's 20th anniversary.

There's a sand timer in the box, so it's safe to presume that the marine turn will once again be timed (a great device for increasing the tension) and the inclusion of a Librarian and Patriarch (ahem, I mean 'Brood Lord') means that psychic combat will also be making a welcome return!

you can but you would need to file or cut off all the blood angle iconography so just cut off the tears and maby green stuff some U's on aswell

I ordered this, hell scrape off those foolish blood angel icons and you have some fairly dynamic termi squads and an hq for usd $99 the rest can be chucked on ebay for those who want larger maps and more 'stealers for there own custom missions.

I think the price of the game is based on the number of figs that come in the box, plus a little extra for terrain. if you wanted a good base nig army and some marine terminators to add to an existing army, this is a probly a good deal.

Sorry, my original post has a typo. it is $118.75 in Canada. It's worth it for the models, but I think it costs too much,and I'm not sure if you can use the models in a regular game. If not, then I don't think it's worth it.

I remember the computer game letting you choose from a few different chapters. I never played the original game though, so I don't know.

My guess is 'limited run' means, lets see how many people we can make buy this thing really quickly. Then once we've sold a lot, people complain that its limited, we change our minds - and end up selling it full scale anyways. Just my guess. But thus far, it is a limited run yes - 100 bucks, but the minis are amazing.
