Well, you could be a paladin, but im not sure if thats what youre lookin for.

other than that, monks can fight hand to hand and can do some magic. Clerics also get some decent combat skills, but their main job is healer.

dude, clerics pwn by the time they get to the upper levels. i think my one friend did some cross training with the cleric, and one of the skills he could was calling his god down to perform a miracle. we had to fight satan at the end of the game and he wanted to call god to fight satan, but he didn't for some reason.....i forget, but it would have been awesome.

so I got myself a hammer.

not the warhamer. just hammer for nails and wood. put it next to my dm screen and wait them to get out of line and "Boom" head trauma.

but yeah.. that stick thing never works..
