mine literally sails through the air from the hallway to the couch its scary because if your asleep on the couch you awake to a dog flying towards you.
I love how the one rattie goes aerial as he leaps off the walkway onto the grass. I have two and one of mine does that every time she jomps onto the area carpet in the den. She leaps up and pounces like it's a trampoline! So funny when they do that. Reminds me of how sheep will jump straight up in the air when they are startled. :)
my rat terrier would get new tenice balls out of the closet but during the day she was so playful but at night she would settle down and go under the covers

Be warned though gnaff9093 , they're born with the disposition to rule the world and its hard to break them of it. Mine is too conniving for his own good sometimes. He schemes against me and usually wins.

I've done a lot of research and shared with him but he's still saying no. He wants one too...he fell in love with a friend's rat terrier a few months back. We are visiting my friend again in two weeks! Help!
Tell him these dogs are the smartest and want to please, so easy to train. Or tell him dogs help lower blood pressure! Keep trying to convince him, they are the greatest, believe me!
Just thought I would tell you that on April 28th we became the proud owners of a Rat Terrier named Tres (#3 in spanish). Our daughter named him because of the three black spots across his back, one of which looks like a bullseye around his cute little tail! It is working out pretty good but because we are inexperienced dog owners we are going through some transitioning and eventually get our backyard fenced; just to keep a neighbor from becoming an enemy! :) We are so happy w/him!
I posted a small video clip of Tres just for you and others to see. I will get more later; this one is a bit low key; he just came in from a brisk walk. I'll do something outside/playing soon and let you know!
Yes, but alot of mess to clean up... O.o Our rat terrier loves going to the local dog park. it runs off ALOT of her energy, and she has a ball at the same time. It is fun to just sit, and watch her run around; once she cleard a foot tall pug lol!
