In fact, Marijuana contains the only substances known, of ALL drugs, that can kill CANCER cells while PROTECTING healthy cells. So please, before you go around the internet spreading such flat out lies, get your facts straight.

@totalmetal91 There's nothing linking cannabis to depression. In fact, many use it to treat depression. Different strains work differently - sativa acts as an upper, indica a downer. Don't smoke indica during the day, but for insomnia and sleep aid. The gateway drug theory was disproved more than a decade ago - see Marijuana Myths, Marijuana facts. Most cannabis users never go on to use anything else. Please fact check yourself before regurgitating things you've not personally verified.

But I suggest you listen to the world's leading researcher on marijuana and carcinogens and cancer: watch?v=GJmQ16cGBHU - and you're also ignoring the fact that today a huge number of people eat and/or vaporize instead of smoke. Today vaporizers are the preferred method.

@totalmetal91 Some (few) people who already have depression can experience increased depression and mental withdrawals - which is actually very rare, but cannabis doesn't cause any physical withdrawal symptoms at all. However, you're ignoring that one of the largest uses for medical marijuana is to get people OFF of drugs like prozac and on to cannabis to treat depression. Two of the largest uses for medical marijuana are the treatment of stress/anxiety and depression.
