i've been tryin to beat tis stage but cant leh....supposed to destroy jus materia or the avatar oso mus destroy?

when you first fight genessis in the factory how do you beat him

the only tough thing about this battle is the Genesis Copy reaper things. hitting them in melee is weak so i just tried to spam Hell Firaga til they were out of the way then focused on using Vital Slash on the materia. job done.

I only have one problem with this and most other videos of the same or similar names:

Sure it's the last tough boss but it just winds me up... And it's a pain in the ass trying to find a vid of the battle after Genesis Avatar...

@HATERofEVILcritics I have the fight against regular Genesis at the end. If you mean the battle against the soldiers that's silly it's not even a boss.

My brother was level 36 and it took him like 5 hours a whole bunch of times

When I was bored and decided to play I was owning I was lvl 80 sometn and my brother said genesis was hard i owned him with 2 hits lol and I just know how to really play there are monsters in missions stronger then him message me ill help anyone out

=.= i beat this guy ... and then faced weakend genesis and died.... SO FRUSTRATED. and if you have quake you should use that while he's out of reach, helps a ton :)! just make sure you have lots of ethers or elixers if you use it lol.

lol i just took him head on and healed when i needed to also the DMW helped alot... I MEAN ALOT!!!!! I think i was just lucky

@rc1301995 Same thing happened to me. The only thing that had helped me fight this boss was a Vital Slash that did 9999 damage.

i beat him using blizzaga and vital slash and cure and i couldent beat him then i just started preassing buttons and i was like yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay lol

@LegallyBrunette96 i Was level 37 When i fought this boss battle, and i had ( Darkness,Firaga,Curaga,HP up +4 Master, And Regen) these skills were all maxed out at the time. And i Beat it in exactly 12 Minutes not sure how many seconds. (no this is not my vid just my comment)

@Crissybesr Use wall materia for defence and blizzard materia to hit the sword while it's out of reach

If you still can't win go grind a bit

I attack the sword.

you should try your best to get rid of the minions

if you're not able to kill them before he lifts the sword just try to dodge them

do you have the wall materia? it helps

This is the hardest boss...for me...using drain takes a lot of time..

I know I did train I did 50 man chalalange and 100 man.

And did ALOT of missions.

If you're having trouble with all 3 varieties of minion then you should go back and train.

Here the only ones that gave me trouble were the scythe wielding ones because they take half the damage.

yes this boss is reallly hard just tried to beat him and hit him with zantetsuken, exo flare, mega flare, ifrit, and apocalypse and he still wasn't dead. den he used super attacked and raped me.

just stay behind him and keep hitting his behind

you always crit when you hit him there...just dodge the thunder attack and you should kill him before he does that big overpowered attack
