Dann die Platte öffnen und an der Spindel drehen (das Geräusch bedeutet nämlich dass zumindest die Spindel steckt, Headcrash muss nicht sein) Wenn sie offen läuft, SOFORT die Daten holen, und wirklich zuerst die wichtigsten, dann noch so viel wie geht... Wenn soe offen ist, wird sie nur wenige Minuten laufen bis zum echten Crash

i like seagate, i think thats the best hd manufacturer, but THIS SHIT HAS FAILED it costed €69, what can i do now?

This is not a head-crash. A list of why this is musical:
1. Maxtors die for no reason
2. Heads stuck on platter
3. seized spindle motor
4. bad controller board
5. Maxtors suck ass most of the time

Drive has Siezed Motor, The platters will spin but at a VERY low RPM. A common fault on these drives

i would recommend Seagate with 5 year warranty, i have 20 of them running 24/7 and has not failed for am year, and Seagate is very cheap to buy to!

The platters are actually spinning... well maybe not in this video but I opened a maxtor before that made this exact noise and the platters spun ...
