  • Lol i live in ny, nyc... But im working at being an actor. :)

  • she looks 20 yrs older than her headshot

  • i hate how the top 2 comments are not even about acting like questions when ppl who came here really want to be an actor like myself those should be the top comments.

  • im 16 and want to become an moviestar myself

  • what if your family dosnt really have the money for those things and stuff like that?

  • i want an acting class, but i cant afford it at the moment. i want to be an actress before age if 17. what should i do?

  • me and my cousin wanna be actors, im 13 and shes 11. have a ny advice?

  • keep pressing 1. lol

  • Got a bad, er, pretty bad teeth to gum ratio goin on there , too much, a little too much gum there...

  • well, thank you for trying to help those who are searching one. But there are some who didn't need classes and they still became famous... I think. -_-; or maybe I'm wrong and I'm only spitting stupid things out of my mouth...

Anyway, it's still good to try...

    ...XD

  • This is all nice and dandy. But if you don't understand the philosophy of acting, most people have absolutely no clue, you're not a right fit in the profession.

  • how to become an actor? i had already thought of most of this typical stuff, i was looking for insights, and what is that makes ameature actors express every single sentance with a facial reaction? noone makes that many expressions when saying an un improvised peice (acting is making it look like its improvised like all human emotion). It pisses me off. But good job, cheers for trying to help anyways, good luck with everything.

  • can u be my agent, lady?

  • "do you think you have what it takes to become an actor ?" pwww re malaka, skase re

  • There's a great new thing for actors called get your SAG card

    now online, check it out.

Also, a great Life Coach with Entertainment background is really

cool - I know, I am one. My last two clients just got named semi-finalists

in a big action competition! :-)

  • speech training also helps. lisps don't.

  • Getting work is always the hardest part. I've been trying for four years, and finally got my big break - you can check out my journey to my own acting career at my blog, just search for acting-career-info(dot)com

I try to give as much advice about my own experiences as possible.

  • This does not help actors at all. It's all practical.

  • You dont NEED to go to classes to become an actor.....

    Whuuuut.

  • no need couch

  • justice's response is pure genius

  • Excuse me, But where and whene do i find agents?

  • I don't think is so difficult or harder than it seems at all..... going to auditions, finding posting and all that is just like any other job. if you want a job as a loan processor let's just say. you have to do the same, have good resumes, go to interviews, check on websites, practice how to interview.. it's exactly the same... now being an actor, it's helpful to get some classes but I know a lot of actors that never took one single class and they are Famous actors.......

  • Check out my video about our world famous actor Jacob Bliss.

It's sure to turn you on.

  • Thanks for the vid!

  • to be an actor do we have to be cute??? plis answer me that .

  • @jacksparow121 have you ever seen an ugly actor/actress? The answer to that will answer your question.

  • @DivinityOnHigh Sarah Jessica Parker, Jonah Hill...I'm sure there is many

  • sso if i take clases at school AND outside of school will thatbe better? ya know if i do both? and were do u audition close to home?

  • Horse-Toothed Jackass.

  • @shevyshakess

I'm getting rather bored of you, to be honest, and I think it's very easy to say things across the Internet. I'm not saying that having that particular talent is the be all and end all. There are plenty of great actors out there. But to stand the test of time and be something on another level, you need something that can't be taught. Sorry, but it's true.

  • @ilovemuchado I would agree with that. With everything, it's a mix of talent and skill. Hence why there are so many unemployed actors out there.

  • @shevyshakess

Acting is a great craft, and there are plenty that want to succeed in. But to be truly great and 'respected', to be admired and an inspiration to other actors, you need to be more than competent. You need to deliver WORLD CLASS performances. And for that, I'm sorry to break it to you, you need something that just can't be taught. That's what talent IS.

And ta for the advice, I'm sure I'll get around to it. May I suggest you watch Kenneth Branagh to know what true talent is.

  • Redundancy........... Not the way to get people to like your videos......

  • Well I guess it's time 4 plan b uh?

  • Yeah, and her "Professional" headshot looks like it was run off a cheap printer. No advise offered here.

  • @sethhendrix

Haha, yeah even the eye color is different

    This was hardly advice

  • it helps to take acting classes But to be honest you can be good whether you take them or not. Also search small parts first like pantomimes If you dont get the part, dont worry lots of people dont just dont stop trying Keep with the small parts and then finally if you get parts create a simple resame. After you can get a bit more serious.Go for tv parts like adverts maybe even some westend musicals.Show them your resame it helps.also if your having trouble finding roles its good to get an agent

  • holy mother of god, thats way too many videos

  • its harder than it sheems

  • Whoa teeth.

  • well is it too late for me now? i am 15, can i still become an actor? i wud luv to be one in hollywood, would be cool.. i get nervous when acting though.. advice?

    thanks.

  • @xScouseWalshy

everybody starts somewhere! it may sound intimidating to hear that most professional actors have been acting since....birth, but ive heard of Broadway actors that didnt start until they where in college!

the truth is, everybody gets nervous before preforming. its human nature. the trick is hiding it. just breathe and have confidence in yourself.

join theater and do some plays. im also a newbie and i just joined theater 1 but i really enjoy it so far!

  • im horny

  • @Justice7BSAA lmfao...!!

  • This didnt help me much sorry!

  • I would enjoy a blowjob from this woman.

  • @gammypage Don't let her huge gum line hit you on the way out.

  • athena is pretty. i want to take her on a date and make awkward sexual advances

  • id fuck her face

  • @sethhendrix thats because she's an actress lol

  • are acting classes exspensive?

  • im diggin' the horse teeth

  • @SaintsRowMaster12345 HAHAHAHHA.!!!

  • your mouth is too big for your face

  • She looks like a huge fan of the dental dam....

  • this sounds like VERY basic....with emphasis on BASIC!...advice. this should be called "how to advance in the entertainment biz"...practically, with the exception of a several fill in the blank headings, all of this info could be used for making in the music industry! wow

  • expert village... really? EXPERT? i thought everyone knew this all ready...

  • i freaking LOVE Avenue Q!!!

btw, all of that is basic common knowledge

  • I'm almost 13 and I'm going to take acting classes in summer. J really want to become and actor but I can't becuz I'm young and don't have an agent. My uncle is an actor now but he says all you have to do is dream and they will come true and take classes

  • I live in a backward-ass city -i'm the only person that calls it so- and how can i "become" one...

  • shes a singer

  • I'm diggin the horse teeth

  • @LostMontreal LOL

  • how about stop teaching people nonsense

  • i live in new york city. i want to a be an actor :D

  • hey i believe ill b in movies one day

the only person thats gonna get me there is just me

    hahahahahhaha ur awesome

  • what do you do if you just want to become an actress on tv?? broadway isnt really for me cuz i cant sing lol

  • if you look of ropen auditions in your area and do student or small preoductions (8 weeks filming)

you will have a much better chance at getting a tv role. you need some exsoeriance in front of the cam

    hoped this helped

    xx

  • i been intresting in acting but i want to find out if i got what it takes. idk how..

im 18 and i want to be an actor so bad

  • are u good at it?

  • ok well im currently in Connecticut only an hour away from new york it would be so helpful if u could contact me maybe you could help me or actually coach me so plz if u could plz inbox me please

  • The chances of you becoming a actor/actress who makes over 6 figures or more is less of a chance then getting your starting novel publuished by an agency, and that is a 5% chance. Why so little, because like books and movies they allready have great acotrs , writters. Plus, everybody in the media world knows each other. So if you thought that shai lebouff was a nobody, his nephew is speilsberg and drew barrymore is his cousin or something familly related, which is why she was in ET .

  • I don't know how to do that i am 10!

  • omg im ten too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i really wanna be an actor but i cant get an agent yet b/c im 13 hahah

  • I am intrested, I speak English, but I live in Belgium and in Belgium their are no futur for artists, please can you help me ?? :)

    Jason ALDRIDGE

  • AND ABOVE ALL - Be persistant. right? :p

  • i wanna be an actor but, my high school doesn't have a drama program (we just got a seprate[from elemetary]building)

  • 0:12 IN THE HEIGHTS

    :D

    yay broadway.

  • i want to become an actor

  • Hey i just grad from high school since i was young i always loved to act but then i got to high skool chores the teacher told me i i didnt no how to sing and took me out of class tried to join drama and said that it was full the last week of school a new teacher came and told me to go out for drama and said she will teach me 2 sing but couldt cuz it was my last year and i been lookin around 4 acting but cant find a school can some one help

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIGHT

  • I would highly suggest doing small community work within your city and no you don't have to live in New York or California to do it. Go to a film school where students put together their projects is another idea. You have to build up a portfolio is the point and get known. Do some indie work become an extra is also a great way to break into the business. Another thing NO MAKEUP in your photos they want to see your natural look. You can take your own photos now days.

  • I don't believe in acting classes , you either got it or you don't. One thing to remember is that there are a lot of con artist out there in this industry to watch our for. One is that you don't pay anything to any agent and if they want you they will pay for your photos or they will tell you to go and get some made. They cannot refer you to anyone.

  • I think what every kid or teen that wants to be an actor should do is just get experience and take every oppurtunity you can get even if its for something you think is not good or you dont like it. Because that will probably lead to something else. Join plays, classes, look for open auditions and just build up your resume. Hope I helped.

  • I'm going to be a famous actress and inspire people.

    I just know it!!

  • i read that shia labeouf started doing stand up comedy and then called up and agent and they liked him and hired him so idk

  • eeh her mouth is huge.

  • I'm going to have to agree with you on this. The experts for acting don't seem to have any content... They rarely offer any real advice.

  • i really really want to be an actress and it seems really hard i have no idea how to start like all these internet websites ask for alot of money and i just dont have it can i still do my dream. help me someone please

  • Hey, I'm glad a caught you! Please don't pay money to any websites... With the exception of LA Casting and Actors Access. Also, I just started a show... I am going to try to cover all of these questions. Please click on my name and go check it out. When you're done watching the first video please please post any questions you may have and also let me know if you're planning to move to LA or if you live in California. Anyway, that was a lot. Good luck!!

    Jason

  • heeyy i want to become an actor please help me:(

    thanx

  • I am 13 and wanted to become an actor for a kids or just whatever tv show. That is my dream, I have no idea where to begin though :/

  • Words of advice: If you want tips on how to do something and the user is "expertvillage", find another video. They are worthless across the board.

  • truly hard for newcomers pursue showbiz career in the states. what you like most in being so versatile athena? isn't all of those talents in the states, saturated for a new one?

  • It doesn't matter how many videos you post on here, it helps if you can act. I've seen lots of jaw droppingly awful versions of Richard III on here from people claiming to be actors.

  • tediousoldfools is right. Acting is a talent. If you haven't got 'it', that spark, than there is little chance of becoming a respected actor.

  • @ilovemuchado how do you know if you have that "spark"? haha

  • @Littleman1229 that's the beauty of it, those that really have it don't know how great they are.

  • @ilovemuchado id disagree there...ben affleck and matthew mcconaughey are "respected" actors and IMO they are horrible

  • @SimplyJoy18 They aren't respected at all. They are just good looking and charismatic. No one in the industry considers them renowned. Affleck as a director and writer? Definitely.

  • @ilovemuchado Thats not true. Everyone can become an actor. It is all about finding your inner child, and play the game.

  • ya thats gonna happen... dont bet on it

  • ya thats gonna happen... dont bet on it

  • why have i never seen you in movies or herd of you ?
