I was lucky enough to study with DiCenso at Berklee. He's an amazing drummer and one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. He has a ton of chops but prefers to play musically instead of blasting out some retarded rudimental solo.

Great little solo with excellent dynamics, and tasty empty spaces tied together by a metronomic sense of time. Oh, and if he had tuned his snare for optimum buzz rolls, the crispness wouldn't have been as good. There's nothing to criticize here. Super-nice job.

I love the way being hidden behind a computer brings out some people's stupidity. They'll watch a really nice clean dynamic drummer like this and make some stupid pedantic comment. 'Er, he forgot to blink three quarters of the way into the fill. I know this because my dad bought me a really expensive drumkit for Christmas and I can play the opening to "Smells like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana.'
