@Tripo1iSamson What's wrong with lectures? This one is excellent. Probably, many the videos you are talking about would be copyright violations if posted to YT. That said, there are plenty of shorts which are not so restricted. I'd point you to some of my favorite channels, but I'm not sure I really want to see you posting there.

20:55 I always wonder how people who spend years to decades working on these projects deal with the idea that it could all be for naught if the launch is not successful. e.g. many people spent many years working very hard on OCO, only to see Orbital Sciences Corp crash it into the Indian Ocean near Antarctica in Feb 2009. And while I'm not one of the people working on it, I suspect I might need a tranquilizer on JWST's launch date.

The pomp is humorous. But this isn't the worst I've seen. I was watching a lecture the other day in which the head of the physics department of the University spent about 5 minutes introducing the person who was to introduce the speaker. The introducer spent about 5 minutes introducing the speaker. And then the speaker spent about 5 minutes thanking each and every one of the people who had made his talk possible. And after the talk, they had to cut the Q&A short due to lack of time!

@rocinante821 The truth is - if it makes any difference to an judgmental person - I care about people out there who need our love and attention and either alcohol drinker nor ever watched American idol my friend! Science in many ways is corrupted to a tool for the evil in man instead of serving humanity my dear friend. It is about love and compassion to the next my friend, YOU UNDERSTAND THAT?
