  • when i rename a textdocument to style.css it just stays the same (text doc) the icon doesnt change too

  • as a beginner should I learn HTML first before CSS, or can I learn this first? Or are they pretty much the same thing? Thanks from a beginner noob, lol

  • @khaymen1

You should have a grasp of basic html first as css without html doesn't make much sense. There is a starting html course on the site which should help.

  • His explanaition makes absolutely no sense at all. I use the "Shared Borders" feature in FrontPage 2000 with very little effort. All this .CSS is a MESS. The real reason for switching to all this rubbish is so the governments can search for combinations of words faster. Old School .HTML Rules ! I hate progress...

  • please tell me what program do you use here? thanks a lot!

  • So much talking for such a simple answer. CSS are better because you can make changes to 100s of pages at once, just by editing the Style Sheet Page. So make the changes there and it will change your entire site. Easy

  • fail tutorial...

  • Your voice makes me think of an ice cream sundae with almonds!!!

  • His voice makes me think he is very boring depressed and has no life

  • @kenobr Yet, you still take the time to post a comment as dull as that?

I think you Sir, is the one with no life.

  • @SirHelp WHY don't shut the FUCK up two fucking months ago i said that i hate dipshits like you who always take the time to write comments that don't need any frigging replys

  • @kenobr Why don't you stop acting tough over the internet and grow the hell up?

Seriously, saying someone has no life when you have no idea about there life, isn't really the brightest thing to do.

  • HEY i have a great idea why don't you just stop annoyoing me ur the one with no life now i thnk it would be a great idea if you were to not reply to this because i am sick of coming back to this page just to read a comment by you saying u shouldn't call someone something if you don't know them well maybe ur right but i'm going to keep calling people whatever i like because i don't know them and they don't know me

so "SirHelp" do not reply to this does that line make sense do you understand

  • @kenobr Your saying people have no lives when you have never actually met that person.

Lucky for you actually because I think even the youngest users could beat you into an inch of your life.

Stop insulting people over the internet and try it in real life, see what happens.

Just because you don't know someone doesn't mean it gives you the right to pick on that person.

If your taking the time to insult people over the internet and about there voice, you are the one with no life.

  • yes i am saying people have no lives when i have never met them and its actually okay for me to do that because here on the internet i can say or do any fucking thing i want I can insult anyone i like and yes i have done it in real life aswell and it feels even greater I'm not picking on anyone ALL I WAS SAYING WAS HE SOUNDS VERY BORING now seeing as you have tried to make your point across and i couldn't give a fuck i think it would be great if you didn't reply

    PS you have no live

  • I don't understand why you keep replying to me if you think i'm going to say "okay yes you are correct and i am very wrong i will never ever talk to someone on the internet like that again lets go back to our perfect world "your an idiot if you think i'm going to say something like that and why try to get a point across to me that i don't care about i don't care what you think so just leave me alone you are one anoyying Ausi why not go chase a kangeroo and leave me in peace!!!!

  • @SirHelp I know that's what actually pisses me off about youtube and other blogs, is there's people with no lives of their own, or their really intelligent but acting like complete tossers.

I haven't been back to CSS for ages to be honest and find him actually alright, good tutorial, I admire anyone wanting to talk on youtube about this stuff, I would personally end up waffling too much, so that's why I dont bother making any lol.

  • @SirHelp

Been in the developing side (whereas this is really the designing side), there's 2 distinct differences, and it's really good having the 2 perspectives I think.

What I mean by developing is doing programming like PHP, Ajax (even doing database design, including normalisationa and indexing).

  • thanks Steve good video...keep them coming!!!

  • COUNTER STRIKE SOURCE

  • you are the man!!!!!

  • Well done. I have had a website since 1996 and used MS Frontpage.

Have not had time to learn CSS, but now do.

So your videos are great to start the learning process.

  • Thanks for explaining WHY we need CSS. Most instructors and books miss the simple points you made in this video. Great job!!

  • Good job - thanks ...
