Lol he probabley drives 10 under the speed limit, ultra hardcore speeder. After all hes got so much power in that hemi powered toyota minivan.....pffft
I'm not. That post was factually accurate. In fact, I actually prefer my V1 over my 9500ix. Make sure someone is talking crap in the first place before you call them out about it.
I do occasionally but that's generally considered a no-no unless they are stealth RDs. When you run them together you run the risk of them interfering which can hinder the performance of both.
Do you still believe a RD can save you from laser or have you gotten a laser ticket yet? ;) not with the early warning system belgx65 1400 feet warning
Me da real deal. nigaaa Ha ha. Actually, you stand a chance with Instant on because a rd with good sensitivity and reactivity can pick the shot up ahead of time in most cases. (radar is like a flood light-easy to see) (laser is very coherent :( which means no chance of any sort of early warning )
With a V1, you stand less than a 5% of a laser save. They are rare but not unheard of. That being said, Marian, I don't really understand half of your comments but you need a jammer for laser. You are blatantly incorrect in your logic. I've tested detectors and have shot a police laser gun. Off reflective surfaces it was a near instant speed lock as soon as I pulled the trigger.
What city are you in? I'm curious to know how prevalent laser is in your area. In an all laser environment I don't know how you haven't gotten ticketed yet. Are you a hardcore speeder or one that only goes 10 or so over the speed limit?
For you it is. I wish all cops used laser. If you have the right countermeasures, laser poses no threat whatsoever. If you know nothing about any of this stuff, you try to use two radar detectors to protect yourself against police laser, which is totally useless.
that MPH on the display means what? the speed you are traveling?? My old radar just gave out on me and i need a new one now. What should i go with? 9500ix or V1?
Just curious, how did you get the times for the "being shot with laser", etc?

what radar detector would be good for me? i live in nj its a mix of both highway and city and a bunch of hills and turns
alban672 2 years ago
If you can take the falses, V1. In a hilly topography, the 9500ix has tunnel vision. The V1 is the king of off axis.
claya91 2 years ago
Nice Vid. Do you know the difference between the 9500i and the 9500ix?
jshaw6000 2 years ago
The 9500ix has speed/red light camera databse, autolearn and a blue display.
claya91 2 years ago
either way i go, V1 or 9500ix, i kno its a hell of an upgrade compared to the cobra
castration21 2 years ago
or go with the Bel gx65
same as 9500ix

This comment has received too many negative votes show
The V1 is a better detector. Check out my videos and you'll see why
robm425 2 years ago
I used to get plenty of false alarms on the Cobra Detector i used to own. I drive thru the city mostly.
castration21 2 years ago
If your do mostly city driving then 9500ix UNLESS you're ok with falsing. If so, then V1. Bottom line
V1=Most Sensitive, Arrows, False Alerts
9500ix=Quiet, 20% less sensitive but still sensitive.

stop telling people crap about the V1

then why you got a 9500ix if you got a V1
Marianmichael 2 years ago
I got the 9500ix before I got the V1. I haven't sold the 9500ix yet.

Yes, it has a GPS which allows it to display my speed. Is your driving environment more city or highway? How sensitive are you to false alarms?
