I've got the green face completed, but the whole layer is not oriented correctly. My cube's top layer looks like this: green all on top. front top layer: orange white orange. right top layer: yellow red yellow. back top layer: red yellow red. left top layer: white orange white.

If that made any sense to anyone, please help me! I just bought this cube today, it is a standard 3x3 and it has not been touched by a screwdriver. Please help!

i have a different solution for when the piece is in the right place but is not oriented correctly, this is how to do it: turn the whole cube to right, than do this algorithm - R' U F' U'. This is the exact same thing to what the video is doing but i find it easier using the R and F sides of the cube rather than F and L sides, this is just my opinion though.

My book that came with the cube says to do Ri U Fi Ui (i = inverted you know) to solve the side when your edge piece is in the right place but flopped with that other color...Same thing as Fi U Li Ui (OR F' U L' U' as you have in the video...)???

Appreciate that you posted the algorithms in the notes--really helpful. There is, however, one small error: the 1st algorithm, used to reorient a green cross edge piece, is given as F′, U, L′, F′.
