Go to any major U.S. city (Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, etc.) and you will find EVERY culture in the world represented. L.A. Secondly, people in South America descend from all over the globe, not merely from the first Spanish invaders. Research the history of Brazil or Argentina for quintessential examples of this.

Those cities accept immigration because, on the whole, it benefits them by giving them an increased labour force.
