You know, you could probably contract with some big studio to do a "Zombies at Arcosanti" or "Mad Slasher of Arcosante" movie. Raise a lot of money and build more architecture.
Just make sure to put it in the contract that you aren't portrayed as "old hippies in Acid-Land" or "naive kids wasting their lives." You don't need that.

It's been said that there's no such thing as bad publicity, but I think you guys are on to something with the whole arcology thing, and I'd hate to see it presented to the public as "goofballs who don't know the Sixties are over." It's a lot more than that.

Surprisingly those with the say at Arco really liked it! I can't imagine that there is anyone out there thats like "No! we cant go there! They have zombies!" but it would sure make me giggle if a prospective workshopper called in with that concern!

Arcosanti Haunted Hay Ride!
The Arcosanti Community Council is offering Haunted Hayrides on Friday, October 24th and Saturday, October 25th, 2008. The 45-minute Zombie experience includes a hayride and walking tour through ancient Arcology ruins, campfire horrors, and mayhem not for the faint of heart.
Rides will leave hourly from 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. from the Arcosanti Bakery. $11 for adults, $8 for students with ID, or $5 for kids age 13 and under.

I went the zombie hay ride and it was awesome I know you guys have video of my friend just flippin' out Saturday night. She wasn't even going to get off of the truck. I can't wait till you guys get those wideos up. Once again Awesome job and I hope you guys do it next year.

Just the trailer so far, but its only the beginning. Our Haunted Hay ride coming up on the 24th and 25th should give us some more interesting shots!
And to answer your question the next party is Halloween, THUNDERDOME STYLE BABY!!! oh yeah

Hope you guys like my zombie make up, a little fake blood in the right places can go a long way. There is a Japanese dubbed version that will be uploaded soon, thanks to Maki and Daiki. And to think we pulled this off in a week before Burning Man! We are already talking about doing another one! Love to all the Burners, Arconauts and morbid mo fo's like myself. xo
