There could be an interesting travel series - a book or some articles or whatever - of people traveling to sites with associated syndromes. So, obviously, Jerusalem Syndrome, but also Stendhal Syndrome (Florence). Where else - probably the DRC to play off Heart of Darkness and Fitzcarlo. Maybe the Alaskan wilderness if you wanted to get really contemporary (playing off Into the Wild). So basically it would be a series based on travel hysteria tourism.
