Same thing happened to me a couple of months ago! i know how to do it now! wanna know? i thought so. you have to hit ness and his yoyo at the same time with a powerful attack and whenever he walks around he has yoyo in his hand until you do the yoyo trick attack again so if it is hard for you and you finally get it, dont do the yoyo attack!!! hope this helps everybody who is wondering how to do the ness yoyo glitch so i hope it helps you all peoples or as you normally say, ppls!it is soo awsome!

the same thing happened to me. In final destination, i was fighting 2 lucas and i think wario while i was ness. when i was charging for an up smash attack with ness's yoyo, 1of the CPU lucas was getting ready to slam himself into me with a pk thunder. the lucas hit my yoyo right when i did my smash attack and suddenly i was walking around with a yoyo. the glitch disappears after you do a yoyo smash attack

I'm not positive if it has a constant hitbox at any time, nobody's gotten it to have a constant hitbox as of now, so no, it doesn't do any damage. It might hurt an opponent once, though, like in the Melee glitch.

I once did this while playing a friend who used zero suit samus. he stunned me while i was charging the yo-yo and it just stayed out. it happened twice in one stock match but im not sure if he used zzs' b button stun or her down smash to pull it off

This is very old to me. I did this the day I bought the game, but didn't really care. I thought japanese players already discoverd it, so who cares :] I got the game the day it came out, that Sunday on March whatever. Too late to name, and you can cancel it. It became an auto hit once, when it hits without will. Since the yo-yo overrides many attacks and almost all projectiles, it wouldn't be legal in tourneys, nor is it easy to do. Plus there are 1 or 2 otherways of doing it. No other info. >;D

when there is an attack thats big enough to go through it (when its out) but not enough to make it disapear it will hit ness and cause it to stay out (easy whith lucario)
