@xXTonyToxiSaurXx In the early 2000s, there were couple of cars using rotary engines from Mazda, but no factory effort. You have to ask Mazda.

Comeback, after what? That's apparently part of this BS myth... 787B completed the World Sportscar Championship season just like rest of the old-regulations cars and there were still four 430km races after Le Mans that year. It them it finished 5th, 7th, 9th, 9-10th. So you can understand how false this ban myth simply is.

@renotuinder - the thing is that while some Le Mans cars of that era, like the Jags, and like the modern-day diesels, have masses of torque to haul ass with, this thing is just all revs. You've got to be in a pretty low gear to get acceleration - and this circuit is mostly twisty, only one meaningful straight.

When it raced in the 24 hour it was tuned to around 700hp, and the redline was 9k if I recall correctly. It is capable of much more, but for endurance purposes reliability was the primary concern.

@RowdyBill12 9k in racing trim, though supposedly a mode that wasnt used churned out an extra 200bhp with 2k more rpm, though I dont know how accurate that is. Dunno about the shift rpm though, and cant guarantee the guy was allowed to push it to the maximum.

It would have been sponsored and running. :/ Im a big rotary fan my self. And sure hope we can have a true battle of the engines. Once Mazda get a really nice H-rotary. @SKYLINEman1996 neither. Suzuka starts off with a 2-in-1 curve. Followed by a left, right, right, left combination. Fuji starts off with a sharp hairpin. Not to mention, the bridge on Suzuka ( Its very rare with figure 8 GP tracks ) is missing. And for fuji, you are missing the very broad / long, right corner, which is followed by hairpins. :) -Title says "Mine circuit" dont know that one though so. I would believe its "Mine Circuit" ..
