01. I live in New York City, home of one of the oldest and most intricate subway systems on earth.
There are few elevators and escalators in the system; most of it was built before WWII when such things were hardly a consideration for the elderly, handicapped or young parents who wheel young children around in perambulators and strollers.

Hi everyone..this is just another annual announcement to confirm that MUSLIMS in Europe, America, Asia and Africa and the rest of the globe are very busy making 'hampers' (Xmas food packages) for the elderly, vulnerable Jewish/Christian/Hindu and other peoples of the world. This act of humanity is repeated every year in December and usually leaves many people in tears as many of them don't have any family/friends.

I preferred 2003-2004 when I was the only Polish guy in a small town in East Sussex, and hate ppl coming over to UK without knowing English at all, but it is not all of us - I did nothing wrong. I've studied English knowing I was going to visit UK, and I knew English customs to be able to respect locals... Still I have to fight chavs every now and then, and those BNP reps... An entire family has been charged with the death of a 20-year-old law student of Pakistani origin.
Sadia Sheikh was shot and killed in late October 2007, allegedly by her elder brother Mudusar in retaliation for her living with a Belgian man and refusing to accept an arranged marriage.

I really don't care what religion you have. I only care about the acts people commit in the name of religion. Beating women, marrying small children, killing infidels because they have another religion is something I can not tolerate. This has nothing to do with being agains some religion but In the West we have certain law and if you are not willing to abide by it you should not come here.

I am muslim, I have lived in the UK my entire life. Ask anyone who knows me, i am a civil, quiet, normal person. Am I "Mentally ill" No i am not. My family did have to overcome predjudice first hand when they first moved to Britain from Egypt. Fortunatley that is rarely a problem now thanks to 99% of UK citizens (not the BNP or this man). Please do not think I am a bad person because of my faith, i am a normal as any other people in this country.

@gulbirk I agree with that. Most aren't. However, the governments of nearly all the middle east ruling some 500-750m people are utterly repressive. Less than 3 days after Gaddhafi was killed the country declared that Sharia law would be the ultimate authority. Extremism is a small segment of the population, but it's also much larger than any comparative group. The numbers of Christians who bomb abortion clinics are far, far fewer than Muslims who blow themselves up in night clubs.

@gulbirk I'm not coloring all of them. My claim is that Islam, in its unaltered form, seeks suppression (often with violent means) of any alternative belief system. In 2011, at least 10 Middle Eastern countries have some variant of Sharia law. Islam as practiced by these countries, while sickening, is truly Islamic. Part of that faith is to overthrow competing ideas. Hence, the fear of "infiltration" of Britain by radicals who rile poor, young men with promises of divine glory. A rational fear.

Most people who call themselves Muslim do no follow many core precepts of their faith. The ones who do are the terrorists and the infiltrators.
