  • God = Atoms

  • Beautiful music like this should not be contaminated with a bunch of idiots arguing about religion. You'd make your side look much better if you kept your trap shut.

  • This song played when religious people find out that god is a superstition and all hope is lost. Now they've grown up.

  • I hear this Soundtrack in The lovely bones!!!! Its so beautiful!!!! I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • enough about God for crying out loud. you have the right to believe that soeone's died for your sake for whichever reasons you choose to believe. It's your own and fundamental right. But do you have to bash about it on Youtube. Keep it for your weekly get together at the church, or your mental prayers at night. There's many different religions all around here and yet christians are always rating about god on their comments. give the rest of the world a break, and talk about something else

  • @erWithjana hey i'm not a Christain but utube is a place of free speech so we can write anything down, oh and he wasn't bashing Jesus down your throat. If you can't handle it, don't come reading messages in here.

  • @mrocean21

    freespeech huh.

    cool! go fuck yourself.

    i like this freedom stuff.

  • Everyone will meet God. It's appointed for a man once to die and then the judgment- Hebrews 9:27.. It's either Heaven or Hell.. The Bible says we have all sinned and fallen short of God's glory (Rom 3:23) Sin is lying, stealing, looking with lust, taking God's name in vain etc.. Our sin deserves to be punished in Hellfire for eternity. But God became a man (Jesus Christ) and took the punishment for our sins upon the cross. We broke the law he paid our fine. The only way to be forgiven is to

  • @dandan688 repent and trust in Jesus Christ alone.. Repentance is a change of mind about sin. It's hating your sin, turning from it and turning to God with a humble and broken heart over your sin and rebellion. Trusting is someone who is solely relying on what Jesus did on the cross for them and nothing else. The Bible says that if you believe that Jesus died for your sins and He rose again on the third day you will be saved.. Convert to born again Christianity..

  • @dandan688 BULLSHIT ALL OF IT IS BULLSHIT

  • @dandan688 you make it sound like God is a slave driver.

if the slaves do a bad deed, like try to escape, then they must stop and think it's wrong and turn to their captors and apoligise for trying to escape, hate themselves for trying to rebell, and if they don't, they'll be killed.

I don't get why if he's all-forgiving and all-knowing that he'd condemn people to hell for human nature. seeing as He created us all, and everything, why would he create behaviors that would condemn us to hell?

  • @dandan688 it all just seems strange to me.

  • @dandan688 Shut up about god savings us from our sins....he created sins...he knew we were gonna sin, and the thing he does is to sacrifice himself to prevent something he knew was going to happen....u hv some messed up religion

  • @dandan688 why should i be punished in hell for all eternity for saying oh my god?

you claim your god loves us, is all forgiving, and is our father, but all of these traits would make it impossible for him to condemn us for an eternity in hell. one that condemns me to hell for not worshipping him is not a god, but a devil, a devil so full of malice that he has a strangle hold around humanity and delivers devastating pain in the form of death, illness and natural disasters.

  • "SEARLE!!!! Tell, him, TO MOVE! :("

  • This song makes me want to go slow motion running down my street......in the rain. Love this soundtrack. <3 <3 <3

  • So what did he see?

  • it has also been used in the walking dead series

  • Songs are repeated all the time. Sometimes when a director uses the same music composer to do another film they just repeat songs. Nothing against it. Christopher Nolan, Michael Bay and im guessing sunshine and kick ass directors might be the same. But they all do it....

  • I love what an homage this pays to 2001: A Space Odyssey. John Murphy is a genius.

  • WHY ISN'T HE MOVING!?

  • kick ass much? xD He just repeated the tune. Oh Murphy!

  • @spritedaway12 This movie came out three years before Kick-Ass. :P

  • @spritedaway12

The music used in Kick Ass is a reuse.

Sunshine came out 3 years before Kick Ass

  • the scene in kick ass played 'kanedas death'..they're pretty similar except kaneda's death has a guitar riff

  • She's quick and quiet...

  • Good ship for a specter....

  • Such a good song (: you may recognize it by kick-ass because this song is originally from sunshine but soundtrack for Kick-ass was created by John Murphy so he used this for kick-ass....

  • Is it just me or does this sound like a version of Strobe (Adagio in D Minor) from the Kick-Ass soundtrack.

    Both by John Murphy!

  • @beansydamaster

This song is originally from sunshine but soundtrack for Kick-ass was created by John Murphy so he used this for kick-ass....

  • If you're watching this and wondering why it sounds so familiar, I think they use the same song in 'Kickass' or a very similar song to it, anyway, that's where I've heard it before.

  • I'm glad so many others think this film deserves more credit, I think Danny Boyle is a great director and never fails to deliver. One thing the film manages to do that few others achieve is terrify me. It's terribly visceral and its depiction of the vast nothingness of space is truly haunting because it's exactly how I'd imagine space in my mind. I'm an atheist and I know there's nothing waiting for me in the afterlife but stardust and this film acts as a constant reminder. It's magnificent.

  • beautiful, gonna watch it cause music is so breath taking

  • When I meet Bruce Lee in the after life this is going to be the music in the background

  • Is it me or does this song remind you of Inception? I wonder if this influenced Hans Zimmer?

  • @BrooklynTrend

It conveys the same emotions but only because John Murphy and Hanz Zimmer are very good composers.

  • This song kind of makes me wanna see this movie now...

  • @xLiesForALiar See this feckin movie, you wont regret it. One of the most original movies set in space there's ever been.

  • @xLiesForALiar See this feckin movie, you wont regret it. One of the most original movies set in space there's ever been.

  • @xLiesForALiar See this feckin movie, you wont regret it. One of the most original movies set in space there's ever been.

  • I heard bits of this in the new DVD trailer for the "Adjustment Bureau." ...Just the faint pieces of it made me feel all emotional inside. Purely amazing piece of music.

  • This song is KICKASS

    ;0

  • @davidblasian7 Also IN the Kick-Ass movie! :D

  • Kaneda!!! What do you see!!!???

  • BLAARRRGHHH...!!!

  • 1 Person didn't get to see the sun

  • Kaneda........myself, Searle and the rest of the human race simply want to know, in that moment, what did you see?

  • W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L

  • 133 positive

    1 Negative vote= 1 stupid

  • this movie couldnt be better. favourite ever

  • i take that back, this is brilliant but im sure the music in heaven will b even more amazing..

  • when i meet god, this is the music i want to be playing in the background...

  • @iRyder155 Too bad there is no god so that'll never happen :(

But the song is great still :D

  • Comment removed

  • Kick-Ass Runied this Song

  • @dawnofwho How, exactly? Kickass was amazing.

  • Not sure how fuck up this is, but this song was going through my head in what I thought were my last moments!

  • Cpt. Kaneda = balls of steel

  • Must be the back-ground music in heaven! <3

  • i want this song to be my personal soundtrack when im despair moment.

  • The opening of this song is truly chilling, but also a tone-setter for the entire movie.

  • Kickass fuck yea !

  • The first time the music is used in the film is utter genius. As the captain gives his life to save the ship, I can't think or more haunting and emotional music as this. Pure dead brilliance from Danny Boyle.

  • Awesome movie - goes way beyond typical sci-fi and the amazing effects are only trumped by the jaw dropping story

  • this song is very emotional..it gives me thoughts about my life.

  • Thumbs up if you heard this in episode 5 of The Walking Dead and thought "hang on... this sounds familiar."

  • I wish this was longer )= I'd listen to this master piece all day

  • So amaizing...

  • this was such an epic song in kick-ass!

  • Isn't this song used in Kickass as well?

  • @holymadgod Holy shit you are a legend!!! That's where it's from!

OMG thankyou. It's been eaing at me for ages!!! Cheers buddy!

  • I think this should be re-released so people can see how amazing it is.

  • beautiful work!

  • Wonderful music. Very predictable, but still beautiful.

  • Awesome <3

  • when i close my eyes by this song i got a reale scarry feeeleng bood ah free feeling too =p i love it

  • I really have to agree with Mimi2699, this was the fuckin best sci-fi film of all time!!!

  • under rated film.... but amazing.

  • @LPpapercut87 It's sad that good movies like this go unrecognized and shitty movies get all the attention.

  • @LPpapercut87

  • fuck.

    that was awesome

  • A fucking amazing movie, deserves way more credit

  • This Song Is Also Used In Wolverine Movie FIRST TRAILER

  • Your a tool. how can a trailer be better than this masterpiece of a film ?

  • He wasn't talking about the film.

His cmment was related to alexbrit's comment.

  • @EddieChute the post above mine acknowledges that this song was used in the Wolverine trailer, making the Wolverine trailer better than the Wolverine movie, but good job being agressive with your post, ass.

  • one of few the best sci fi movies to date.. almost like 2001 a space odyssey by Kubrick

  • I haven't seen the movie, but this track sounds familiar...

  • Have you seen my top 15? ;)

  • No, nope. Sorry no. I haven't seen your top 15... Why?

  • This song is in it. But maybe you recognize it from the Wolverine trailer.

  • @Supercali006 i've heard that song play in one of the tv spots

  • @danish Legend

you can hear this song in the final sountrack of "Walking dead".

  • @Supercali006 also maybe from the movie Kick Ass

  • @Supercali006 this is also from the scene from Kick Ass when Big Daddy dies. Still an amazing soundtrack!!

  • Yup! I saw it! I think it's amazing.

  • @danishLegend because it was used agian by john murphy in kick ass.

Strobe (Adagio in D Minor) =)

  • @danishLegend because it was used again by john murphy in kick ass.

Strobe (Adagio in D Minor) =)

  • @danishLegend It's also in the film Kick-Ass, a recent film.

  • @danishLegend bet you recognize it from the "Kick ass" movie... :D

  • @danishLegend yeah it sounds familiar, reminds me of something off the lovely bones?

  • @danishLegend its the soundtrack of the "Blindness" trailer :) Also it was in "Kick-Ass" when Hit-girl kills all those guys :)

  • @danishLegend sounds just like the music in kickass

  • @danishLegend I've noticed some of John Murphy's pieces have some simliar themes and patterns in some of them. You may have heard another one of his songs, that sounded similiar to this one.

It's always possible that you heard it from a movie trailer or commercial though.

    It's a beautiful piece, John Murphy's amazing :)

  • @danishLegend Momento maybe

  • @danishLegend what about 'kick-ass'?

they used it when one of the heroes gets killed...

  • This is the most under radar, under rated film I have ever scene. Visually stunning, compelling, emotional and the music is the icing on the cake.

  • agreed

  • agreed

  • @prometheusxii It annoys me how underated it is the film is just by far amazing

  • @prometheusxii WOW I couldn't agree more. This is one of the greatest movies I have ever seen and no one has ever heard of it.

  • @prometheusxii fuck yea it is.

remember the Icarus 1 part.....damn that sent chills up my spine.

And the ending to this film......just (I tried and could not find a single other word to describe it) awesome.

  • Wonderful.

  • this and mercury are my fav tracks, love the film and adore the music.

  • Fantastic
