@BH4BFast I tried this. I used neodymium magnets but the rest was the same as best as I could tell. It is difficult to count the coils on the copper wire and the direction of the wind, but maybe it does not matter. Anyway, it does not work at all. Since there is no sound; I guess that air is used to move the wheel, that is probably what the wire is for...to make wind resistance so it will spin well. It was a good enough fake to make me want to try, but no go. It's a fake.

There are lots of people shouting lots of different theories on how "the video is fake", but in reality, this video is actually true. He really is generating that voltage - by rotating the magnets near his magnet wire, he is performing electromagnetic induction. But what he's doing is nothing special, we have commercial grade generators that already do very efficiently. Also, the voltage is high and amps low because there are no turns in the magnet wire, very little is exposed to the fields.
Also there's no way to tell where your wires lead. They disappear beneath two magnets, into an area out-of-view. But I doubt you'd need to have the magnetwire attached to any secret battery, because it's easy enough to induce the0 voltage seen by electromagnetic induction (by rotating magnets across an electrical conductor).
You're measuring Volts AC, it's AC because the voltage being generated is due to electromagnetic induction. Every time a magnet approaches one of the wires, it generates voltage, and as the magnet leaves the wire it generates a voltage in the opposite direction. In fact, you're using magnet wire to hook up your multimeter - magnet wire is the best thing to use if you are attempting to generate voltage through electromagnetic induction as you are doing in this video.

People just asume the red and black wires connected to it go into the meter but they could just as easily be conected to a power source to make it spin. Not saying that it is but there are a million ways to make something like that spin air being one a motor under it being another. What seems to be happening, is the EM field is accumulating in the coils, then collapsing and showing up as voltage on the meter. It's intermittent because of the collapse and rebuilding of the dipole. Interesting, thanks for posting.
Yes, it's real. No, it's no perpetual motion. It's electromagnetic induction. A changing magnetic field will produce an electric field. Likewise, a electric field will produce a magnetic field. It's how the Faraday flashlight works. It's not perpetual and it's not zero-point energy because it requires you to move the magnets.
The disk is a loop video if you watch closely it slows then instantly goes back to full speed. It looks like the disk will lock up like most other magnetic motors.
Its a well made video but its completely fake as for where the voltage comes from I wont speculate as I have not tried to replicate it.

Zero point energy is a term often applied to vacuum energy, which is a well understood phenomenon. Look it up on wikipedia. Getting energy from a quantum vacuum is 'free energy' in the same way a water wheel or solar panel is. You are just generating a voltage, but not doing any work with it. The meter is probably 20 Meg ohm/volt, so on the 200V scale thats, 4000 Meg ohm, virtually an open circuit.
Take off the meter and attach a light bulb, so it draws current and does some electrical work, ie watts... and your machine will stop real fast.
the floating disk has very little friction, so when you spin the disk it will keep spinning, when ever it begins to slow he just blows one side to keep it spinning lol.. thats why there is no sound and thats why the disk slows down and speeds back up

Apparently the inputs of the dvm are not interconnected. I this case any electrostatic field can cause a voltage - it displays nonsense.

maybe lower magnets have to be closer together, as you have. rebuilding it I found 2 things:
1: when moving hovering disk just a bit, it tried to follow magnetic lines (snapping to ground instead of hover
2: the copper wire doesn't do any (so far) (how can it, as it reacts on electricity, not on magnetism?)
so I think the battery of your voltmeter makes it spin...

What a presentation. But you CAN"T FOOL all the people. you put the clock behind to perceive as real time, but it is only a distraction. the 10 mins delay make no sense either. The number's on the meter appear before the disk even start spinning. and the weight of the disk will not have enough velocity to over pass a neodymium magnets, esp with your loose magnets arrangement, eventually Gravity will stop the disk from spinning in seconds.

There does not appear to be anything going on here that can't be explained by conventional electromagnetism and other known and experimentally verified laws of physics.
The upper CD blank is levitating because the magnets are oriented to repel each other. The upper blank is kept in position by the spindle. Nudging it with your finger gives the upper disc a very small amount of kinetic energy. This energy is slowly being converted into heat in the multimeter, lost to friction.

People just asume the red and black wires connected to it go into the meter but they could just as easily be conected to a power source to make it spin. Not saying that it is but there are a million ways to make something like that spin air being one a motor under it being another. I did notice that the output didn't seem to follow the RPM at all that points to meter not even reading any real output is any exists.

Hi, How long did it run for altogether?
Assuming (and with YTube, it's a BIG assumption) that there isn't a hidden magnet / motor under the device, and the digital meter isn't wired to actually provide power to the coils, then this is actually quite impressive!
What seems to be happening, is the EM field is accumulating in the coils, then collapsing and showing up as voltage on the meter. It's intermittent because of the collapse and rebuilding of the dipole. Interesting, thanks for posting.

Yes, it's real. No, it's no perpetual motion. It's electromagnetic induction. A changing magnetic field will produce an electric field. Likewise, a electric field will produce a magnetic field. It's how the Faraday flashlight works. It's not perpetual and it's not zero-point energy because it requires you to move the magnets.

The disk is a loop video if you watch closely it slows then instantly goes back to full speed. It looks like the disk will lock up like most other magnetic motors.
Its a well made video but its completely fake as for where the voltage comes from I wont speculate as I have not tried to replicate it.

look at the Leeds you don't see the entirety of them. the multimeter is most likely attached to another device and that's a extra set. I see what you mean about the looping however. a really nice composite shot. I'd go so far as to say the only reason the wood is there is to eliminate the need for reflections from the clock.

any magnets that pass by each other will produce voltage people have known that for a long time now. And the video is not a loop, look at the clock 5 min pass while the disk is spinning. Its just your eyes playing games with you just like a spinning wheel on the road looks like its spinning slow or backwards. Find one magnet and fallow it with your eyes and you can see that is in constant motion. I thought the same thing to at first.

I don't think anyone that has left a post here knows what zero point energy is. At at least I admit it. If you knew what it was then logically you would know how to use it to make energy. BTW I think, though the spinning makes it difficult to see that the turning may change direction about every second. There really is no logic that would make this thing rotate.But why go to the trouble?

thats why he put the clock there for people like you. the only problem i got with this is that there isnt attraction from the magnets you would need a transformer to attract and repeal each magnet. but hes is only magnets that arent even close to each other. i think the shaft is being turned by a motor of some sort and what your see on the multimeter is just the electron of the magnets moving to the ground

Great concept, but it's fake. I think the mechanism is being influenced by a separate magnetic field, such as a large permanent or coil magnet under the table. The unfortunate truth is that zero-point energy, free energy, or whatever you want to call it, does not exist.

Zero point energy is a term often applied to vacuum energy, which is a well understood phenomenon. Look it up on wikipedia. Getting energy from a quantum vacuum is 'free energy' in the same way a water wheel or solar panel is. I know the device in this video is some kind of lame 'spoof', and I'm sick of people scoffing at these concepts out of the arrogant position that they have all the answers.

There is no such thing as "zero-point energy", because there is no such thing as a closed system. However, magnetics have a close tie to the quantum mechanical world, and you can draw upon energy from places where you might not expect to find it. But in this case I believe these magnets will eventually discharge due their non-zero electrical resistance.

ive always belived that magnetic fields hold the truth to our future... all started when i played wipeout and figured if our roads had a magnetic charge the same as the underbelly of a vehicle then it would hover along the field then set into motion with some kind of turbine all powered at zero point.. i belive that the boomers are holding us back with this as they are afraid of change and thier industries being obsolete... just a crazy thought...

i read that henry ford could convert his model t's to run on magnet engines, all you'd do is put cow magnets in the slots provided on the flywheel and the engine would run on it's own without using any fuel, it could produce 40 hp. he bought the design from the inventor, john keely. bye guys.

I don't know about this particular model but Nikola Tesla said one could tap into the zero point energy field created by the earth's magnetic field and draw an unlimited amount of energy. You are just generating a voltage, but not doing any work with it. The meter is probably 20 Meg ohm/volt, so on the 200V scale thats, 4000 Meg ohm, virtually an open circuit.
Take off the meter and attach a light bulb, so it draws current and does some electrical work, ie watts... and your machine will stop real fast.

the floating disk has very little friction, so when you spin the disk it will keep spinning, when ever it begins to slow he just blows one side to keep it spinning lol.. thats why there is no sound and thats why the disk slows down and speeds back up

The voltage could be increase if the wire coils of the disk spinning turn more rounds.
Notice the wires coiling in between each magnet of the top one.
What piss me off of not finding a solution for this is the magnetic fields!
