the more free flowing the exhaust the more rasp its going to produce so you could either switch to a more restrictive exhaust or go back to stock. how big is the exhaust because i think mine is only about 2.5 inch pipes, not sure though.

so, no headers? just exhaust? sounds good... i have the EIP comp but not installed yet. worry about raspy noise. people been telling me I would need headers to avoid raspy noise.
yea the comp produces way more rasp than this one does so you might want to invest in headers but i say drive around with it first to see if the rasp is really that bad, i have no experience with the comp exhaust so i really can't say much.

yea thats what i ended up doing but, then i sold the car about 2-3 months ago and just picked up an 05 B6 S4.

yup my battery was on its last day of life, replaced it the next day and about 5 months ago had to replace the alt. shes for sale now though :( 14k

i have that exhaust and it gets raspy at 3k RPM. I have been told that test pipes will fix that problem.

test pipes will only make it more raspy since it will be basicly runing the car with straight pipes.

it does get a little raspy towards the higher rpms but its not ricer style rasp other than that its a pretty nice exhaust.
