A lot of people remember this as one of the themes for the island storyline in 1984, particularly since it is heard right when Bo & Hope found Roman on the beach after his fall from the cliff when Stefano shot him.

I know :) But this is the longest scene I think with this music playing. It goes on for almost three minutes! The background music was the main reason I started watching the show. I had no interest in soaps but had to start recording it for my cousin in the mid 80s and I heard the background music and I had to watch, then from that point on I was completely hooked on the show. I don't think any other soap even comes/came close to the music on Days. I think most would agree
