They should these games more Metal Gear-rish, with Ogami being based on Big Boss, Yoneda based on Zero, Sakura or Erica on EVA, Kayama on Sigint, Kaede Fujieda on Para-Medic, and Ayame Fujieda based on The Boss.

Man, I want to play these games so bad but I don't have the money to import them, or the means to play imports. I do "have" the first game on Saturn but even with translation guides it's hard to enjoy the game. X_x
now one would say anime games usually arent good but the sakura taisen franchise was good to bad it didnt come out in the US with such cute and touching endings they would sell fast im sure of it
i know but the anime was the only ones that came out and if you end up liking them you also get lost in them because they are sequels to the games yet with the ps2 remakes they could have brought them to the us
Its for many systems if you go to the Japanese website that has a data based for all the video game system it was for. If you have a PC you can get in CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, or XP on a import site.
Sakura Taisen 4 was supposed to be the final game of the series, so this is how the series ended. Of course, Sakura Taisen V came out (and more are on the way), so this isn't the end of the series. It is the end of the Ohgami chapter though.

It was actually a game first before the anime, so I wouldn't call this an anime game.

No, they weren't broken up. The story actually continues if you listen to the drama CDs and watch the live shows.
