i actually just decided im voting Bob Barr of the Libertarian Party instead after reading an article Baldwin wrote entitled "Christian Right Just Doesn't Get It." In the 2nd paragraph he says, "We are pro-life; we stand for marriage as God defined it, we believe children should have the right to pray in school." He's too much of a theocrat for me. Im pro-choice and I support ALL individual rights including gays. SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE! I guess I'm more libertarian than conservative.
Bob Barr is a distraction, designed to split the revolution.
He voted for the war and the Patriot Act, is pro abortion, changed position on the drug war, and isn't for ending the income tax... among other things.
Why do you think he's getting so much positive press coverage? Don't be fooled!
Chuck Baldwin 2008! (Because he didn't have to CHANGE to get your vote.)
"We need to end the War on Drugs. I've been there and done that. It doesn't work." Bob Barr, Washington Times, May 2008. He's lobbied for Marijuana Policy Project for last 2-3 years. He voted for Patriot Act to get the sunset clauses in it. He's been working for the full repeal and partial repeal since he's left office.
The reality is that Ron Paul will do the nation the biggest service by being a Congressman which he understands and we should all respect. By supporting Barr, the message of liberty will become more mainstream
Anybody who rewards poor behavior on the part of the GOP by electing a RINO and a non-conservative deserves the results they'll get: more of the same in the future. I will not vote for McCain. I will vote for who *I* think should win. That's Bob Barr.
This fascist voted YES for the Patriot Act, YES to ban gay adoptions in D.C., YES to ban flag burning, YES to ban medical marijuana in D.C., sponsored the Defense of Marriage Act, and opposes illegal and LEGAL immigration. I would have to have absolutely no morals to vote for him. Skinheads love the guy I'm sure.
Bob Barr will be the only conservative on the November ballot. Don't waste your vote on the liberal John McCain. Vote for Barr who is for small government, civil liberties and is pro-2nd amendment. BobBarr2008 do t com
Barr is not a Libertarian. It was the Libertarian party who ran ads to take him down because of Barr's strong support for the War on Drugs. This was when Barr was a Republican, and was running for reelection for congress in '02, and Barr lost, mainly because of those ads. So why is he part of the party that took him down? Gravel is the most Libertarian. And a Gravel/Root ticket could win the presidency. The left and right leaning moderates would unite and VOTE LIBERTARIAN.
okay, i don't know much about barr, or gravel, but i know that gravel is NOT a true libertarian. Even if barr did once have big govt principles, at least he got rid of them, unlike gravel who still has them!
The rEVOUTION should NOT just blindly line up behind someone like Bob Barr who is NOT a libertarian. Barr voted FOR the war in Iraq, FOR the "Patriot" Act, and was the MOST ardent defender of the drug war. He is nothing but a FAKER and a flip flopper.

Bob Barr is FAKER.
He is NOT a libertarian. He IS an AUTHORITARIAN.
He voted FOR the war on Iraq, and FOR the "Patriot" Act, and AGAINST medical marijuana and was the BIGGEST supporter of the war on drugs in Congress.
He trying to HIJACK the Libertarian Party for the benefit of puritanical social conservative meanies and STEAL it away from libertarians.
If he succeeds, there will be NO ONE left to defend our civil liberties.
Bob Barr is NO Ron Paul (NOT even close).

Barr Has Been doing Alot of Grovaling and Apologizing For His Past Positions.
I still dont Trust Him.
But they say; a Vote for Barr is a Vote for Barak, and a Vote Against Mccain.
You get Two votes For the price of One.
