I recently purchased a 1957 Gillette Blue Tip Super Speed. I have very sensitive skin, and the Blue Tip is one of the only razors that can give me a comfortable shave. However, I've tried using a whole bunch of different blades in it (even Feather), and it only gets me down to a close stubble.

I was reading on the forums that you have to use a slightly different angle with a Blue Tip. I was wondering if you could possibly make a video showcasing how to correctly angle the razor.

A lot of people don't realize that a lot of work goes into putting some of these vidz together.

This one was over 40 minutes of video edited down to 3 minutes using numerous frames that are less than 1 second in length.

Yes, tricky getting it all synced up with the music....

If you edit something in the beginning, it throws everything after that point off...

I'm happy with the outcome, though.

That is the original Electric Safety Razor from the 1950's. Plug it into 120V receptacle and get your shave on!

I've featured/shown it in another video but I'm not sure I want to shave with it...

Unless I get my Lineman's insulated gloves, mask, rubber boots, and fiberglass hot stick to plug it in...

Plus the blades are real hard to come by, it doesn't use a standard safety razor blade.

The non-folding razor with the bamboo wrapped around the handle is called a Kamisori razor.

Which, ironically enough means razor or scissors in Japanese.

They've been around for centuries!

What I had in mind with this video was that hopefully some younger Gents would see it and realize that there are some other excellent alternatives to multi-blade disposable cartridge razors.

I think Dad and Gramps had it right!

First the Straight Razor, then it progressed to a Safety Razor..

One blade in contact with the skin= Less irritation.

Instead of 2-3-4 or 5 blades=Ouch! :(

All you need to do is highlight the text by holding the Left Mouse button and Scroll over the text, then Right Click on it ..( a box will pop up).. and then click COPY. Then all you need to do is go where you want to put it, Right Click..(box comes up)... the click on PASTE.
