  • It looks like a 1/4 to me, not a 1/2 ???

  • damn what riff are you playing at 0:11 i really want to learn that song. also this guitar definitely looks 'portable' surely you are able to carry this around wherever you go correct?

  • great job man!

  • I got an adorable mini acoustic guitar but it's such bad quality i'm finding it difficult to tune- i bought it back from America for $10, which is probably why..

  • i like it

  • thats awesome! how long is it?

  • @leesha666

Actually, it's 78cm long... just measured it ;)

My full size guitar is 101 cm long (to compare)

  • hi which song were you playing??

  • @abdulla541

    quote 'ttcherrick':

"Heard a fragment of Mozart's "Turkish March" and also "Waltzing Matilda". You've got a lot of music rattling around in your head!"

I really didn't have a clue what I was playing :P but there's really a lot passing there...

Just love it like this :D

  • omg i want to get one, easier to carry around town :D

how much are they normally? For a fairly good one?

  • @JJkathay

Mine cost € 25 (about $30-35 i guess) but it's quality below point zero. For a fairly good one you should count on $60-100, just as much as some cheap but playable regular guitar.

  • Someone please tell me where to get one of these!

  • what song is this called

  • my guitar is smaller! UKULELE 4 LIFE! :P

  • @nielsation

so... mine is bigger, got more strings and can play the canon from pachelbel!!!! Guitar ®UL3Z!!!!

  • @MrMxjzptlk i dont care i am just a rookie :P

  • The second song song is "Waltzing Matilda". its the Australian national anthem

  • nice playing lol but the guitar sounds like shit

  • @RcUniverseGuy

What you'dd expect from a €25 piece of triplex with strings? :P

On the other hand, who gives if this damages on traveling? Would be a pitty with a €250 guitar though...

  • nice back packer guitar

  • i wish i had such a thing

  • hey dude is that 1/4 size of 1/2 size? and what song is that?

  • Heard a fragment of Mozart's "Turkish March" and also "Waltzing Matilda". You've got a lot of music rattling around in your head! Nice work!

  • I have one too! Still learning though. :/

  • Olé! great piece... remainds me of my holyday in spain... i guess i alsow heard a li'll classic piece?

  • @TheMcCola

Could be indeed, this style of music fits best for classical 'spanish' guitars ;) In spain Flamenco is played most I guess?

  • hey, it's me again! xD

what's the size of the guitar? Is it a 1/2 guitar ?

    Thanks for an answer

  • @Sk8ter2147 oh i see . it's a 1/2 guitar. Sorry i didn't read the comments.

  • hey what song is that u were playing.

    it sounds nice :)

  • what is the style of the music?? like old english or something? im interested in playing songs like this

  • @Jonathontheone

Style... that's a good question. The first part has some classic Spanish with a little German and Austrian flavour. After that it indeed contains some old-English influences, and then it's just some rubbish style at the end. It's just a mix of a few things I like plying B-)

  • haha I would love to have one of these just to play around with it ...I have no problem playing my regular size electric/acoustic but I guess this one is probably better for kids and/or some girls to practice..u know cause of their smaller hands and stuff :P

  • @jsantis91

It's about as narrow as a narrow electric guitar, but indeed, with one fingertip you can push down three strings at a time. This makes it perfect for young kids, about 4 to 10 years old. When older and small-handed grown ups I would suggest a 3/4 guitar instead of a 1/2... but I must admit: it truely is fun to play around with ;)

  • what's the exact name of the guitar you were using??

  • can u take any nylon strings for the guitar?

  • Actually, I use the same strings as I use for my full size guitars. The one thing I have to do is take the scissors and cut them down to the right length. So yes, any nylon string will do perfectly.

One big difference is the tension: because the strings are a quite a bit shorter, so the tension will be a lot less. Someone may chose for high tension strings instead.

  • i got a ukulele b/c i tried to play my brothers guitar but my hands are uber small. when i master the uke...i should learn this.

  • What brand is that guitar and how much did it cost? I want it.

  • the brand is 'musikids' and it's the most cost-efficient guitar I've ever seen: it cost me € 25,--

Technically it's kinda crappy, made of triplex with the most cheapest strings I've ever seen. But even so it's a nice little toy to play.

  • @MrMxjzptlk Ah... musikids, my first guitar ever =)

I might get a JTJ playmate soon, got anything to say about the jtj?

  • How much did it cost?

  • This one cost me a fortune: about € 25 ($ 35 usd).

I just wanted the most cheapest, simple mini guitar to take with me on travling around. If this one gets scratched or something it really doesn't matter. The sound of it isn't that great compared to my Ibanez 12-string or Salvador guitars ofcourse. It still is a nice little toy ;)

  • 1/4 classical im guessing, I jsut bought a 1/2 to practice/compose on until I save a thousand for Jose Ramirez 2CWE

  • This is a 1/2 too ;)

To be honest I don't know the 2CWE. I just googled it, and looks great... should sound as good too!

  • jestes zajebisty

  • cool man!

  • whered you get yours at?! O:

  • Mine I got at 'kijkshop', a shop that sells about everything in household products and entertainment

  • Just get a ukulele

  • nah, four strings is a bit too little for me. I only want six, eight or twelve strings. :P

  • no....i haven't uploaded any videos of myself.....yet....:D...i've been playing guitar for an year and 5-6 months......and i have some friend's in south-west of the Netherlands:D

  • ahamm......ok....you're good:D...my brother want to buy a guitar like your's....a mini guitar because he saw you and many others on youtube how...there are playing at mini guitar..and me to...i'm guitarist...where are you from?

  • Thanks! Indeed there are a lot of mini-guitars on youtube. It's funny and cute at the same time. I think it's more difficult to play, because there isn't too muc fingerspace. But that's something personal. If he really wants to: just do it. My mini-guitar I got from a toyshop for just a few euros, so everybody can afford it.

Haven't you uploaded any videos of yourself yet? Would be nice... For how long have you been playing guitar?

I'm from the south-west of The Netherlands by the way.

  • what is the songs name?i like it...:D

  • To be honest... It isn't even a song, but just some improvisation. It's based on about a hundred existing songs... Just liked to play this ;)

  • nice improv

  • i love it =)
