I've never actually seen a contradiction between creationism and evolutionism. In fact, I beleive that Gd created and created everything...how do I beleive? Well, why can't it take the form of evolution. This is just a fundie thing.

You do know that carbon dating only works on substances that are/were comprised of carbon? Only objects that contain a level of biomass (people, animals, plants, etc.) can be tested by carbon dating. Rocks and other nonbiological elements need different forms of radiation testing to form a timeline for their age.
